Before Chambers Property Management, I honestly felt like I was on my own. I technically had a property manager, but actually getting help was another story. Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I live in the bay but own a property in Fresno. My experience with my previous property manager was a nightmare. Instead of managing and stabilizing my building, I lost money every month and my stress level was out of control. My priors manager's communication was terrible and to make things worse they were also unapologetic and unprofessional. I think the latter may have actually pissed me off more. After my frustrating experience, I spent a lot of time researching for a better property manager. After interviewing Kendra, I decided to switch to Chambers, and the difference has been unimaginable. Truly Exceptional Property Management I live in Vegas with a rental in Fresno, so obviously it can be a headache to manage. I've worked with a few property management companies over the years but Chambers Property Management knocks it out the park! From the moment I signed their contract, their team especially Kendra and Kyle have been incredibly professional, proactive, and thorough. An example was when one of my tenant's water heater failed in the middle of the night. I was stressed, but Kyle and his repair team handled everything perfectly. Within the hour they had a plumber out to my property and in a couple of hours the issue was completely resolved. I didn't have to lift a finger! Another time (routine inspection) they caught a minor roof leak before it turned into a costly repair. Kyle had a couple of contractors come out to the property and assess it, he provided me with 3 quotes, and had the roof fixed in no time. CPM's attention to detail saved me thousands of dollars in potential damages. They also excel in tenant relations. When one of my tenants was struggling with their online payment platform, I reached out to Kendra and she walked the tenant through the process. Rent was paid on time! I was genuinely interested in one of the properties managed by Chambers Property Management. However, when I called to schedule a tour, I was asked to complete a full application--requiring a fee and submission of sensitive personal information such as my Social Security card, driver's license, and other personally identifiable information (PII)--just to view the unit. I would like to respectfully offer the following feedback to the management team: future tenant privacy should be respected, and sensitive PII should not be collected at the touring stage. Such information should be requested only when a lease is being finalized. I recommend that the management team undergo PII training to better understand data privacy principles, including the importance of collecting only the minimum necessary information. Requiring unnecessary PII, especially when not mandated by law or policy, can constitute a privacy violation and erode renter trust. As a prospective renter, I was eager to move forward, but I cannot proceed under these conditions. For property owners, I suggest working with a management team that understands and complies with privacy laws. read more

As a real estate broker, I have worked with many property management companies. It's important for me to refer clients to a reputable company as it reflects poorly on me if they are not doing a good job. After giving many companies a try, I found myself getting involved because my client's properties were being mismanaged. Although I wasn't earning any income from property management, I was constantly fighting on behalf of my clients (disputing erroneous charges, following up on repairs/maintenance, inquiring about rent increases, etc). This was unsustainable and I realized I had to find another solution. Attached is an email example of some of the incompetence dealing with another management company. They served a notice to vacate but was invalidated because they forgot about the notice and collected rent... ‍ I first met Kendra when she was working for the aforementioned property management company. While she was with the company, Kendra did a great job for my clients and thus we developed a good rapport. Once Kendra left, I connected the dots and realized that was when my clients began to continuously have problems with their properties. Luckily, I was able to reconnect with her at Chambers Property Management. I had initially started by just referring over one client. They had an apartment building that was being completely mismanaged, 10 units with only one tenant paying rent. Kendra was able to remove the problem tenants, shape up the existing tenants, and within months completely turn the property around. My client was ecstatic with the turn around and is now asking me to help him find another investment property to purchase. 1 Million stars!!! Chambers property management delivers as advertised. I have to say I was a bit skeptical if this company could really deliver. I'd previously been with two other management companies that promised to provide exceptional service but failed miserably. First Company: I kept getting squatters in my vacant units which resulted in thousands of dollars in lost revenue and legal costs. Additionally, they took forever to fill my vacant unit with a tenant. What was particularly interesting when I was frustrated enough and took over the task, I found a qualified tenant rather quickly. Second Company: Even worse. In my opinion, this company sees their landlords as a way to fatten their wallets. While their price per door was extremely enticing, their business model was to suck the value out of landlords with loads of ridiculous fees. This company also flat out refused to walk my properties, paid out vendors without verifying their work, split invoices in order to avoid getting my approval in addition to tons of other atrocious practices. I finally pulled my apartment because they were in horrible shape. With that said, I was seriously thinking about getting out of this business until I spoke with Ms. Kendra from Chambers property management. From the beginning Ms. Chambers was attentive and answered all my phone calls (she continues to do so to this day). They are proactive, frequently updating me on my properties. Chambers verifies that vendors actually perform the work they are contracted to do and so far I haven't felt priced gouged. The most impressive aspect is that this mgmt company holds my tenants to high standard and addresses any contractual violations by the tenant immediately. Ultimately, I'm wring this review because its been a 5 great months when compared to the past few years. It feels great to finally stablize my apartments. Chambers mgmt is new and my understanding is they won't take on more clients than they can handle in order to preserve their quality of service.
