I just had a lash lift and tint by Sami and my lashes are beautiful! I've only had it done once before at a different salon and wasn't thrilled with the results and it was not a comfortable experience (stinging, lots of tearing, the tint stained the skin around my eye area and was hard to rub out). I have sensitive eyes. Sami has a very gentle hand...I experienced no stinging, redness or tearing at all! First time there, when she was done lashes looked nice they weren't as lifted as I've had them before, she said that they would lift up more like the next day and that didn't happen. Very disappointed because I got my lashes lifted for my trip this week and they look ugly the left eye the hair is all bunched up the inner corner of the eye and there just not lifted at all. Moving out of state and trying to find new places to continue services you've had done for years is stressful! Especially when you have high standards and salons are a dime a dozen. I found Blume through a family member and couldn't be more thankful I did! I first stopped by the salon because if a place is not well kept I won't even bother with an initial appointment. Not only is the salon beautiful but it is meticulously spotless! Having had my lashes done for 5 years I asked Amy very specific questions about her training and the product she uses. Her knowledge and professionalism sold me on a brand new set of lashes. That was 6 months ago and I've been back every two weeks since. I've also recently had my brows microbladed by her and couldn't be happier with them. Amy is a true professional with a passion for what she does! I went to Blume because I needed a change for my hair and that's exactly what I got. The salon itself is beautifully decorated and put together and you are welcomed by Amy & Amanda as soon as you walk in the door. Amanda is the stylist who cut my hair and I was very impressed by how she sat down with me and took her time to listen to what I wanted for my hair and came up with a plan to get me there. She gave me real advice that fit with my hair type and daily routine - little changes and tweaks that I could easily make to achieve the results I want. The cut itself was fantastic and I liked how she talked me through what she was doing from beginning to end. The salon uses Unite products and the ladies both told me a lot about the product line without making me feel pressured to buy anything. But after I saw the final result of my shampoo, cut and blow dry, I decided to buy some products. They are slightly more expensive than what I am currently used to paying but I found that I needed a lot less product, which means it will last longer. I woke up the next day and left the house without using any styling tools or products on my hair because it was still so fresh and healthy from the day before. These ladies real stand by the quality products that they sell and it's easy to see why! I would definitely recommend scheduling an appointment at Blume and see for yourself what great work they do! Update 08/28/16 I went back to Blume to get an eyelash lift & tint and HD brows (waxing & tinting) from Amy and what an awesome experience! Her workspace is so clean and inviting and she takes time to figure out what you want to achieve with your look. The whole process of the lash lift and tint was very smooth and surprisingly relaxing. Amy explained each step and didn't rush at all - she really pays attention to detail. There was some minor stinging right before the lash tint was removed but that was my fault because I squeezed my eye shut even though she told me not to :) One side of lashes curled a LOT so she took the time to adjust it to match the other side of lashes perfectly. I am SO happy with the results and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Amy's work speaks for itself and it's easy to see and very obvious that she loves what she does.
