Scott and Duncan can lead you to find your cigar, or pipe and tobacco you're looking for. Also, I'm not a member of their Cigar (or pipe) Lounge but I'm thinking of it. Its a private club with all the freedoms of just such a club. The Lounge also has a "Day Pass" if you want to stop in for the day. This is the best cigar/pipe/tobacco business in Albuquerque, and I've been around and Monte's has no peer.

The owner of the one on 528 near Southern in RR was quite rude, and tried to blame me for not reading some warning on the wall that the included mini USP cable was required for a pen style/on board battery, when the fit had become impossibly sloppy, making charging near impossible. (as if that would have made a difference with a lousy jack receptacle. If you're looking for glass, the Menaul store has a huge selection. Can't comment on those prices. Long story short, stores vary in terms of customer service. The juices are OK, prices are so-so, the rewards have an expiration date one needs to me mindful of. Technical expertise is also highly variable, and looks to be less available than previously. Those of us who have been vaping for quite some time likely have standards that may no longer apply in todays highly commercial, legally restricted era. Those truly were the days. So take this review with a pinch of salt--we were spoiled, and the experience now is seldom the same. But I also believe Oasis has also been spoiled by it's success, and doesn't have the same attitude as a few years back.

The classic line we're told is that there's a great shipment coming in but she's holding them for Ren Fairs and not selling them in the store itself! Really? I consider this a bad business practice. Willing to spend good money an a good pipe but the store has nothing for me. Does she even know that we've been in looking for half and full bents? Lots of small-bowled shorties and straight stems but I don't like them. Sorry but the selection was just lacking every time. I have found another cigar/pipe/tobacco shop in Albuquerque with a greater selection and I've bought cigars, pipes and tobacco there; and they have a huge humidor for cigar lovers. Unlike "smoke shops" Best Smokes has a real selection of cigarettes instead of bongs, vape juice, and mary jane. After some back and forth, clerk said he could dispute the charge with his credit card company. Eventually, the clerk gave them a cash refund but also accused him of possibly disputing the charge anyway. As he was leaving the shop, clerk told him never return to the store. Boy, did he really need a smoke after that experience. IMO Storefront looks unapproachable to me. Sorry my friend had such a crappy first experience.

I went to this location last Thursday 8/1. I was looking for a new torch to use, to light aflame…read more(obviously) which I found for 35$ in a matter of seconds from walking in. You do have to give the staff your ID in order to look around the store which is cool whatever. I got the torch home and discovered it was out of Butane. I called the store and the young girl told me they sell the Butane separately which would have been nice to know at the store, that's like selling lighters with no lighter fluid or toys with no batteries. So I run out and buy some the same night from a different smoke shop. The next thing I noticed is the torch leaks the Butane so as soon as I fill it up its empty again. Come on ! Please stop selling faulty torches and let your customers know to buy butane before they leave to save them time. Of course there are no returns which the snooty staff make very clear. Now I know why you don't have returns because the damn things don't work to begin and now you guys don't have to pay me back. I wont be returning to this smoke shop and will gladly take my money somewhere else.
