Once upon a time, this branch of Oasis was outstanding and the help extremely knowledgeable and able to assist with nearly any problem. The knowledge of the juice wares deep and wide, and IMO tasted quite a bit better. Now not so much. I haven't been to the Paseo store recently, but they rock. The last time not so much as the counter assistant informed they were unable to help with technical matters that didn't involve a product not under warranty. The owner of the one on 528 near Southern in RR was quite rude, and tried to blame me for not reading some warning on the wall that the included mini USP cable was required for a pen style/on board battery, when the fit had become impossibly sloppy, making charging near impossible. (as if that would have made a difference with a lousy jack receptacle. If you're looking for glass, the Menaul store has a huge selection. Can't comment on those prices. Long story short, stores vary in terms of customer service. The juices are OK, prices are so-so, the rewards have an expiration date one needs to me mindful of. Technical expertise is also highly variable, and looks to be less available than previously. Those of us who have been vaping for quite some time likely have standards that may no longer apply in todays highly commercial, legally restricted era. Those truly were the days. So take this review with a pinch of salt--we were spoiled, and the experience now is seldom the same. But I also believe Oasis has also been spoiled by it's success, and doesn't have the same attitude as a few years back. read more

My go to shop. Staff is super friendly, they usually have what I need on a regular basis. Good shop with a great vibe and nice staff.

The selection and variety are amazing at the store. Unfortunately the staff gets a -1 star. To be fair, I have only been one time and this review is based off that one experience. I needed batteries for my vape, and my usual local shop was out of them. They actually recommend oasis, that's what sucks. So I head over to oasis. So much crap in there, I couldn't believe it. There was also only one person working, and I had to wait about 10 min in line while the person helped everyone in front of me. When it was finally my turn, I asked if she had batteries. She said yes, then apologetically told me they're $30 for the pair ( I pay much less at my local shop). I reluctantly agreed since I needed it. She asked for my Id, I pulled it out and gave it to her and she informed me it was expired. She started to explain that she's required to scan my id. I asked "for batteries?" And she told me they were considered "tobacco products". I gave a "smells like bs" look and then she asked me to leave the store. Bad on me for the expired license but shame on her. read more

Most of the time I have very good service, and reasonably happy folks helping. I have social anxiety so while l limiting capacity yelling from the counter, across the other customers equating to every person in the store staring at me while I'm told to wait outside is rough on my anxiety factor, although I don't have a suggestion really that I would want to insert as a way to remedy this, it would be nice to not have to be in that situation for me. I did however find out about curbside pickup due to having that happen, which I will most likely utilize, but it will cut down on my. Hookah Experience: Don't use the in built in bar hookahs. Had a terrible experience with them both times I tried it out. If you find yourself a seat, the traditional hooks are fine. Location: Parking is horrid on Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights. Don't even try to park here, use the strip mall across the street. Price: Great value for the quality of hookah and the specials are attractive also. For value, this is the spot. Venue: The pictures do this place justice. Outside of the bar area, it's not as glamorous as these pictures appear, but again, I would still come here, it's just worth mentioning. Summary: The staff is very attentive and this place is well worth the trip if you're looking for a place to smoke in the area. I was going to give them 5 stars, because of decent service and great prices, but they wouldn't accept the yelp deal for this business. Really? I'm glad I didn't purchase it. They wated me to print out the offer and bring it in, when my printer is 800 miles away. That aside, juice is SUPER cheap here. Like 240ml (yes, 8x the size of a 30ml) for 30 bucks. Why should I pay $20-28 for 30ml of juice just because it comes from some hipster outlet in CA? And the quality is decent. Plus if you want 1mg or 41mg of nicotine, they do it here. Horrible example of what a business should be......last night I parked infront of a sign that said oasis vape....when I came out five minutes later I found a 75$ boot on my car......when I looked upon closer observation there was an arrow that was faded on the sign and a red line that was also faded on the ground.....the only place it said anything about towing was next door, nowhere near where I parked. The cleaners next door was closed by the way. Never will I or any of my friends ever shop at oasis again.....this problem could easily be remedied by oasis and next door.....somebody is making money off this and it isn't right. Went here one night with friends from out of town, one of whom is Lebanese and quite experienced in hookah. Oberall the place is nice, comfortable seating, tvs, fireplaces make it nice and cozy. When the hookah was brought to us it wasn't working initially, but the staff did quickly tend to that. One big downside was the loud crappy rap music that was playing, we went to relax and talk but could not hear each other over the awful music. When asked to turn it down just a bit, they did but slowly turned it back up. We left earlier than planned because of that. Probably will not go back. read more

I don't know why everyone hates this place, I've been going here for years and have always loved it. The staff are nice in both the lounge and shop, and I smoke hookah pretty regularly, so I know what good hookah is. My only comment would be that it can be a little strong, and considering I'm a regular smoker that's a rough one to handle occasionally. But I love this place because they have great couches and free wifi, I take my backpack and work on homework for hours. They use Rockbot, which is an awesome system to let everyone pick the music they want to listen to, and usually it's not too loud. I really just love this place and always will! read more

In response to Kane O.'s response: I went into your business 2 years ago and was totally new to vaping. I told your employee that I wanted Joytech eGo Twist and he didn't say we don't carry that or we have a comparable product, he told me that what he sold me was Joytech, which was a lie. As to the vape juice, I understand that flavors are a preference. I wasn't complaining about the juice flavors per se, but rather the underlying after taste which I have since learned can come from inferior liquid nicotine product. You may have upgraded your products and re-trained your employees since then but my experience was not pleasant. I threw away all products purchased at your store and have replaced them long ago. I have been a longtime customer of Oasis, having spent several hundred dollars over the years. Being that I am such a regular customer, I am very familiar with their rules and regulations and I respect and appreciate that they are so diligent. However, I had one experience this past Sunday that made me genuinely reconsider my patronage. I have NEVER had a problem with customer service at Oasis until this unfortunate encounter with Tana. I was actually sick and being the state of the world right now, I didn't feel comfortable going inside, so my boyfriend went in (by himself) to get some ECig juice and pods for me, as well as a few other things for himself. As Tana went to ring him up, she asked for his ID, which is more than understandable since there are age restrictions for the sale of Tobacco products. My boyfriend however, had forgotten to switch out his expired ID for his new, non-expired one (he is 26 but looks 30). She refused to sell to him which again, I absolutely understood. He came back out to the car and we ran down the street to get my ID so we could go back and I could go in and purchase the ecig juice I needed. I then walked in, BY MYSELF with my VALID ID and also had the unfortunate experience of being 'helped' by Tana. I proceeded to ask for just the juice and she immediately asked me if I had been with the guy who was in there a few minutes earlier. I told her that was my boyfriend and that I just wanted to purchase some juice for MY ecig with MY valid ID but because my boyfriends ID (who was not even inside with me) was expired, she denied my purchase with the utmost attitude. I was trying to explain the situation and she very rudely said, 'I said no' which I found to be extremely degrading. As I said earlier, this encounter made me never want to step foot inside Oasis ever again, but after realizing that every other encounter here with ANY other employee is phenomenal, I will return but I refuse to be helped by Tana ever again. read more

Where do I begin. You have to get someone that knows how to make the juice to make it for you. You could have two different people make the "same" flavor and it taste like two completely different things. All they sell is knock offs. Everything there is fake. They pretend to do business with local artists but they don't. They will see what that local artists makes, even pretend to want to do business with them, then they will turn around and lie about it, saying either it's not what they are looking for, or even if you give them one of the pieces of product they will steal it and say they never got it in the first place but then make something almost exactly like the product that originally was made by someone else. Very unprofessional all the way around. They WILL lie to you about their products. I will not be shopping at oasis ever again and I will be encouraging others to do the same. read more
