Not sure what the person before me was talking about. I,…read moretoo, have a gated yard with dogs and a sign. Never had a problem. Not once. Not ever. And I've had plenty of people work on my house and come into my yard. The owner has stopped by my house and always closed the gate. I have had superb service from the owner and all service people for the past few years. Ben is amazing, his workers are highly trained, they also always greet my dogs and me when I'm home so it makes me feel like an integral part of the company. They do a great job and whenever I need something, they are EXTREMELY responsive. This is by far the BEST POOL COMPANY THAT IVE EVER HAD. I'll never use another pool company because they are absolutely fantastic.

Have used the Pool Man for many years and have never had a problem with any of the techs who…read moreserviced my pool weekly. The problem happened when the owner stopped by to check on a problem with the motor which they had installed less than a year before. This company knows I have dogs and it is clearly stated within my records to keep my gate closed. The owner reached in and unlocked gate to come into yard and then just happened to leave the gate wide open while he started walking towards pool in back. (There is also a clearly visible sign that says to KEEP GATE CLOSED). Seeing as I was not even aware he was stopping by, my dogs were outside and luckily I just so happened to be by window to see this happen. I opened my front door and frantically started shouting to Shut the Gate repeatedly. I am one lot away from US 1 and terrified if my dogs were ever let out! Rather than apologizing for his mistake, this a*****e told me that he didn't have to take this "abuse" and he quit right there on the spot! WT.....??? He also made sure to send an email later that day saying how I had "ruined his day" with my verbal abuse. Here's a thought, maybe grow a pair! Pool Man employees I have worked with are great. Owner, clearly NOT the case! In response to Pool Man reply: You actually have the nerve to try and justify your clearly WRONG actions? Your company is well aware I have pets and has been informed on numerous occasions to keep my gate closed. You came to my home and reached in to unlock gate to let yourself in, which is fine. Just because "you didn't see any dogs" does NOT justify leaving gate wide open which you have been instructed not to, in addition to a sign clearly posted instructing to do the same. Two weeks prior to this incident happening, one of my dogs had to have an eye removed unexpectedly due to a medical condition. My nerves were definitely frayed and we were learning to cope and navigate at this point, so yes, I was extremely frantic when I notice someone has reached in to unlock gate and let themselves in and proceed to leave it wide open while one of my dogs was indeed outside! I too have "ZERO TOLERANCE" towards a company coming to MY HOME and disrespecting my rules of conduct with inappropriate, rude, and nasty behavior! As far as my husband's "knowing sigh", I do not tolerate bull***t from a company I have hired to preform services at my home to blatantly disregard my wishes whatsoever. In regards to your quitting on the spot and my husband "not trying to change your mind", if you may recall, he clearly told you this would have been an entirely different outcome had one of the dogs got out of gate and I don't know, been killed due to your negligence?
