We purchased wall paper totaling €380.00 from Décor World. We informed the sales person prior to…read morepurchase that the paper must be of a durable quality as it would be hung in a busy hall way where there is a child present. We were told that the paper was of a good quality and would be suitable for this purpose. My husband asked John, an employee of Décor World and the person with whom we had been working on the day we picked up the paper, "If there is any we don't use we can return it, right?" to which John replied, "Of course you can." On Monday the third of November, 2014 a qualified decorator with decades of experience attempted to hang the paper. It tore when lifted and also marked when touched. He said he would not put up such a poor quality paper and phoned Décor World to tell them about the problem. The paper was returned to Décor World that morning in full apart from the bit the decorator attempted to hang. John has stated that he would no longer sell that paper as it was so poor. Décor World refused to refund the money and offered a store credit claiming this was the store policy. The 'store policy' of store credit only was never mentioned and is not posted anywhere in the shop. We gave Décor World another chance to get additional samples in that were of an appropriate quality and within our previously stated budget or near enough. They could not. We asked again for a refund and were refused by Martin (Kelly?) the owner of the shop. This occurred November 10 and 11, 2014. We are meeting with a solicitor.

I visited this shop yesterday looking for paint to match kitchen cabinets for a touch up, and a…read moresecond match to other furniture. I had a rough and ready approach, but the owner of the shop took things to a whole new lèvel. He examined the samples I brought and spent time and his expertise in mixing an exact match for each. He is clearly very good at what he does and takes his time to do an excellent job. I am so glad I found this gem of a place, I will be back. Highly recommended for Sean's paint matching expertise and general customer care. Excellent

i visited this shop a few weeks ago.i am from brooklyn,new york and i came to this store for…read moresouvenirs and such. i was amazed to see such a variety of goodies they sell there. and the people that run the shop were so friendly and pleasant.they were very helpful to me knowing i didnt know how to even use the euro,and my accent was not easy to understand . they were very sweet,and it just added to my first experience in ireland.my plan is to return to ireland and this shop someday,god willing!!!!
