They assured me that YES, all taken care of. Imagine my surprise when I got a letter from COLLECTIONS that I owed a balance of $35.95, that they couldn't get a hold of me, (are you kidding? You had my account, my phone number, and info from my two personal accounts) and I now owed $135 (an additional $100 for the collections fee). After numerous attempts on the phone (which took hours) I went to the bank last week, and the banker said they couldn't help me at the time; I would need to make an appointment with a banker for the following week and to keep calling the number on the letter in the meantime. Tried again that afternoon from home, and after another hour, got nowhere. Went into the bank today, and after an hour and 15 minutes on hold with a banker, and consistently being forwarded to another number/department of B of A, I am still NOWHERE. Came home with a new phone number to call, called it...and they are closed for the day. To add insult to injury I thought to just pay the amount to get behind me, and tried to use the QR code to pay it on my phone. Guess what...the QR code leads to a web page with the message "This site can't be reached.... app.pymts.net's server IP address could not be found." Are you effing kidding me???? DO BETTER Bank of America!

I went to Redwood Credit Union to deposit $500 in my daughter's checking acct on 4/23/25. The…read moreteller apparently accidently posted it as $5,000. Later that day, my daughter called me and asked about the deposit. I went to the bank the next day to straighten this out. I spoke with the branch manger who told me the deposit had been corrected and the $4500 difference had been removed from my daughter's account and I would have my money back in 2-3 business days. No apology, very matter of fact. It is now 19 days later, numerous phone calls and trips back to the bank and I still do not have my money. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Now Redwood is trying to blame my bank for the delay and giving hollow excuses. My feeling is Redwood made the error and needs to fix it. Now. Do I need to hire an attorney to straighten this out? If they have the ability to withdraw the money in less than 24 hours, why is it 19 days and the money is still not in my account? I cannot recommend Redwood Credit Union because I don't want others to go through what I am dealing with. I had to sell stock to cover this amount so I'm out that as well.
