First of all, review about Sales Person. I've bought my Mini (first car) at this dealership almost 4 years ago. When I purchased it, I was told that my warranty is 4 years however 3 years down the road, they told me that my maintenance warranty is up. This is when I learned that there's a difference between car warranty vs maintenance warranty, which was never explained to me at first place. Second, review about Service Department. I don't drive that much, so luckily I've only had minor issues with my car. But within the last almost 4 years, there's never a time that I can get the issue fixed with 1-2 visits to the dealership. Put aside taking time off work to make it in and inconvenience of not having a car to drive for a few days, the number of times I had to go in was far more than needed. I will provide a couple of the many incidents I've had with them below. Otherwise it would be too long to read. Not sure if it's because their mechanics are inexperienced or the service reps were trained to push customers away. But when my nozzle for the windshield wiper fluid was leaking, it's a simple replacement, I had to pay 2 visits (including drop my car off, picking it up, drop it off again, pick it up again, so actually I had to travel there 4 times in total) to just have it replaced, because they say what they always say that, "it is normal" or "nothing is wrong". Right now I'm dealing with an issue with interior light and I've already went twice, and about to go in for the 3rd time because even though I showed them a video of what is wrong, they tell me everything is normal and told me that it's due to user error. Going back in time, after my first complaint to them, they had someone call me in the next couple of days to talk about it. So I explained my story again (at that point, I was already tired to keep repeating myself to different people). Then the person on the phone, all he did was to say sorry and nothing they can do and hung up. So what was the point of calling me? Because of their recent changes, I no longer rent their cars due to new rental fee (used to be free), however every time when I get a ride from them (the ride is nice and drivers are very nice guys), when I arrive I always have to wait 15-20 mins for my car to be washed. I wonder why don't they call the customer and have the customer picked up after they've done everything. Why can't it be ready before we get there? And I have to mention that this happens every time, so it's probably how their system is. But just a feedback on this to the dealership, it would be nice to get there and pick up the car without always have to wait. Other things like attitude and all, it's minimal concern, but just be aware the front desk lady at their Service Front Desk (she's Asian, wears glasses, long hair, and slim) always has very bad attitude. I'm sure not everyone experience what I've experienced with them, but as far as I know, I know a few other people who are also getting the same experience. Really hope that they make it better for their customers. Lastly, because of my poor experience with them, when my family needed a new car, and don't get me wrong, we still like BMWs, we just went to another BMW dealership and bought a car from them instead, because this was such a nightmare and I would not let my family and friends having to go through that. read more

I have been going to Town & Country BMW/MINI Markham for service for 2 years. If you are a female, be extra careful or just try not to go there as the service consultants and service managers there are sexists. They assumed all women are stupid and ignorant. They are not shy to show you on their faces, with their gestures that they think women are stupid. We are in 2018, if some people think that women are stupid and they could just treat them without respect and try to rip them off, I think they do need to be re-educated. They should know better many of their female customers are highly educated business women, senior executives or professionals too. They tried to fool me by lying to me that my tire rim was "bent and oval", damaged to the point it's not repairable. So I asked for proofs and asked them why my rim went from OK with only some curb scuffs to "bent" that needed to be replaced. They told me I wouldn't get to see the "damaged" rim when I asked them to keep the damaged one to show me even if it had to be replaced. After chasing them for proofs, pictures,etc.,(they did take pictures when I dropped off my car for the rim curb scuff repair) they told me my rim was fine and their technician tested it on the machine to show me it's in great condition. So if you let these people tell you whatever, they would just make you buy new things when there's not even a need. And they tried to tell me another rim, that's actually in great condition that needed to be repaired too. I do have the tire and rim protection plan but that doesn't mean they could just make every claim on my plan when it's not even needed. I would have no allowance left if anything really happen to my tires. After lying to me and making claims on my trie and rim protection plan, I got back a car that has a rim with curb scuff that I originally wanted to get fixed untouched. They rotated my tires trying to tell more lies too. And worst part is, nobody ever apologized to me from that branch still. Even they agreed to pay for the repair of the rim with curb scuff after I complained to their headquarters, I don't feel comfortable going back to that branch ever again even I am in Markham. All I am saying is, you could complain but they wouldn't do anything. (And if you give them honest bad review in the survey they asked you to do after your visit there, they blacklist you). After I got a car wash, I found 3 scratch lines on the hood of my car too. And because of the horrible experience I had there, I now have to take my car all the way to Downtown Mini for service. And you would think that you take your car back to where you purchased it and they would take good care of it for you, sorry, that's not the case. They only care about sales, after you bought your car, they don't care. They even dare charging me $20 for gas on the loaner car a month later (even I had refill the tank), without notifying me, probably they decided to charge me after they got the survey results). No matter how much I love my Mini, how much complements I got for that, if there is no good service, I would need to give up on this brand very soon. read more

Unfriendly service Andy Leung. Unprofessional sales agent YOGA WARREN. I bought my new bmw here because they are the closest to my home. They were friendly until I took delivery. After that they don't care no more. I brought my car to service, my booked loaner was not available. Andy Leung was not willing to resolve the issue. And just gave my car back. Called my sales guy, YOGA WARREN in the hope he would represent bmw standards and resolve the issue. Instead he gave me a lecture from what culture he's from. Truly dissatisfied! I have had many past service issues with this dealership. My two most recent frustrations was November 2014. Had an appointment to install my winter tires and inspect a break light on my 335xi. When I dropped off my car, I requested to top all fluids. After picking it up, an over charge on the bill and my oil was not topped up. Approx. two weeks later my car overheated and requested again to top up the oil. Once again, a simply request was not completed. What is the problem with this Service Department?
