Deeply disappointed with my 8 hour, $1k moving experience. My original movers, booked weeks out, bailed on me last minute but set me up with "Move OKC" saying they'd take care of me. It was two days before I had to close on my house so I was in a bind and agreed. Huge mistake. I was leery when they showed up smoking a blunt in the truck, but after getting into my storage unit this weekend and seeing how they literally piled things on top of each other --- sharp objects on my leather chairs, stacking chairs that weren't stackable, NOT putting my sectional on the pallets I painstakingly brought home NOR putting them on the tables like they said they would (I explicitly asked to put the sectional on something since it would cost about $5k to replace now), I have exposed sectional pieces that I wrapped on the storage floor, tables on their sides, including a marble top credenza (which now 2 of the 4 cabinet doors don't open) --- I am furious. Just unwrapped the 65 inch Samsung TV, that I had to wrap with the bubble wrap the box came with because they wouldn't, and the screen is broken. I had to look away when they were putting things in the storage unit at one point because I knew it'd stress me out but I did not expect this level. And they got my outdoor cushions caught on the door and it ripped when I went to open it. Don't hire them, learn from me. I was quoted a few hours, it took 8, I bought them food and tipped them each $40. Just don't do it. So irritated. I don't know what all has been damaged yet buy I regret using them. read more

Everything you could ask for when you need help moving. I only wanted them to move the heavy stuff and some other odds and ends but they did a great job. Both guys were professional and worked hard. They take Venmo also. Try these guys before the others and I think you will be happy. read more

I would very highly recommend this place! The price was very reasonable. The two movers I had were both very hard working and very polite. They took good care of my stuff. One suggestion if you decide to use them. Contact them through Yelp initially but call them. Yelp only gives your first name and last initial. Bo came highly recommended by a trusted friend, and so I gave him a call. My first shock was when he answered the call. Bo deals with every move at some point, it seems, so he knows exactly what is going on. That is something I can appreciate! He stopped by one morning, gave me an estimate, and that was that. No contracts, no fancy words. I was a bit concerned (I guess I am used to much more paperwork!), but I shouldn't have been. He called, as promised, the evening before. He confirmed, and indeed, two of his crew showed up on time and ready to work. They worked quickly, dealing with an awkward apartment and what was honestly...not a great packing job. (I am not good at packing...) It did end up costing more than the estimate, but that may be typical with moving. I had never used movers before, and it was a fair rate in my opinion. Overall, I was very impressed. The movers were polite, Bo was very helpful, and it was an excellent experience. I can highly recommend Bo and his team! read more

I used Bo's moving service for a 10 mile move. His workers were polite and efficient. Nothing was broken in the move. The only issue I had was how they packed the kitchen. My advice to anyone moving is to pack the kitchen yourself. I paid to have it done, and had already done half of it myself. With them packing the rest, nothing was organized and it was all just thrown in large boxes which took forever to unpack. It was not worth the additional $300 I spent. Other than that, quality company and Bo is very responsive to any issues. I recommend them, just pack the kitchen yourself and save the money. read more

Bo made sure to call me to let me know that there would be a delay with the movers at a reasonable time. And the movers were able to move us within about 2-3hrs! I was moving from OKC to Tulsa and was originally scheduled for the weekend of July 4th and would start rotations the following day. When the moving day came around, we were stood up and needed help ASAP. I called up Bo Ballard Moving Services and he was able to move us the next day, which was July 4th. The movers were professional, friendly, and efficient. They wrapped our furniture, drove safely and set up our furniture the way we wanted. They cared about the work they did and made sure we were satisfied. We were able to get everything moved in and unloaded that day. This was a great experience. Bo sent three guys to move my 3 bedroom house. They have a loft on the truck and furniture covers on hand. Upon moving in, the group was careful each time they entered our new house and left with no scratches or dents to anything. We recently made an in-town move (3,450 sqft home). Mr. Ballard gave us an estimate & said he estimated it high which was ok. We had most EVERYTHING boxed so it would help make things easier. He sent a 4-man crew. He charged $600 more because it took longer than he thought! the crew was professional & courteous and seemed to work hard so we paid the extra $600 (I wasn't happy about it because he assured us he estimated the move cost on the high side!). When moving our refrigerator they put dings into the brushed stainless steel doors & also scratched both doors. They also damaged the compressor! Ballard's estimate says "Bo Ballard Moving Services is insured to handle your belongings, up to 1,000,000 per occurrence" so I felt like we would be safely covered. Bo Ballard also told my wife before the move "Don't worry! We will cover you on everything except large Televisions!" so we both felt like we had a good deal & would be covered. When I made the refrigerator issue known to him he started back-peddling then said he'd cover the damage to the doors but not the compressor! At this point he won't answer my calls, return messages or respond to emails! I'm stuck with a $600 bill for damage to the compressor & about $400 for the doors! Pros-Bo seemed very nice and professional over the phone. The two employees he sent did move all of my things without breaking anything. They attempted to set up the washer (they switched the hot and cold). Cons-I was not as impressed with the two employees Bo sent to do the job. Not even half way through the move (before they had moved any of the heavy furniture), they took a long smoke break (keep in mind I'm paying by the hour). They didn't start working again until I started carrying things down the stairs and loading them myself. The move was an in-town move. They didn't communicate with me before leaving to the new location. They didn't ask if there was anything else. They just left. I scrambled to get my kids in the car and a few other items that were left and went to the new location.It was 11:30 AM when I left the first location (they left before me) and they didn't show up to the new location until 12:10 PM. It's only a 16 minute drive. When I finally called, they said they had gotten lost. Hard to believe in an age of GPSes. What frustrated me the most, is that I was paying by the hour and they charged me the whole time (including their 40 minute detour). I have another move coming up.
