We have been regular patrons of Bo Lan since shortly after it opened. Can honestly say we have tried all the menu items and have been totally impressed with the quality of ingredients, presentation and flavors. The freshness of the flavors just isn't found at many restaurants unfortunately. The ambience is very nice and relaxed and staff always super friendly. Nice selection of Saki and wines as they do not have a liquor license. We have even tried take out and they package so we'll all was hot and fresh at our own kitchen table. This is a lovely upscale Asian fusion restaurant. The food was delicious. The service on that Thursday night was terrible. I had to asked for a water refill twice. Wow, what an incredible dinner. I've had Thai food before but this took it to a different level. I highly recommend that you go with 4 people to share different items to experience the various items. We started with the salad that was one of the best I've ever had. The server asked what level of spice which I thought was unusual. I got 2.5 out of 5. It was amazing. There were 2 huge shrimps as we split the salad and it was enough for 2. We then split 4 ways these 4 items which was an enough food. CrispyDuck w noodles, Red Fish , Braised beef, Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai . My personal favorites were in that order too. The duck was crispy and not greasy and came with wide noodles that put the dish over the top. All the others were delicious but the duck was the most memorable. There are so many other items that I have to try on my next visit. The restaurant is in a small strip mall but its white table cloth and service was very good. When the bill came, I was also pleasantly surprised. Very reasonable and we had a couple bottles of their red wine. I'm going back soon. I rarely give 5s but this was earned. Very innovative menu centered on Asian fusion. Friendly attentive service, reasonable prices. Had steamed dumplings which were perfect. Had crispy roasted duck with noodles and vegs in a nice soy based sauce. Wife had Korean bulgogi rib eye with noodles which was equally fantastic. Sushi/sashimi menu seemed limited but there were some interesting rolls which we will try next time. read more

Food was good, service was good, but just after we paid our check, five minutes at most, we were asked to leave because the host "needed the table". Good service but I'm highly disappointed. We were told the chef is authentically Thai and the spice would be intense, but even spice level 2 had no heat at all. The special (which was The Emerald at the time) and Pad Thai were both bland, lacked of flavor and overpriced. I've had much cheaper Thai food that tasted far better, and having been to Thailand, this was nowhere close to authentic Thai cuisine. Definitely not worth it. Food was very good but took 1hour and 15 minutes to get serviced AFTER we placed our order. Additionally, they lost their sushi chef so no sushi and didn't inform us when we were given our menus. No silverware! We had to ask! The waiter came to us after we ate our entrees and said" I'd like to get you a dessert". We only got one dessert and split it between the three of us. Guess what? Our group of six dined at Bolan last night. 7pm reservation. We were very excited to try this restaurant because we've heard so many great things. However, we arrived early and discovered there was no bar because they reserve the bar seats. That was no problem except that at 7 PM we were not seated. We were not seated until 720 and the only reason was that they were missing a dining chair. Our table was available, but they had a shortage of chairs for some inexplicable reason. Once we were seated, we were told the specials and then gave our appetizer order. Later, when we were going to order dinner, we ordered the specials and they were out of every single one of them. My husband and my meals were each missing one key ingredient because they were out of lobster and out of scallops. They did not, however, reduce the cost of the entrée. The hostess apologize for the delay, and then said that people like to come and dine and that's why we were waiting for a chair. I guess she forgot that we also had come to dine. We will not be back and that is something we did not expect. There are other Thai places that have enough chairs to seat their customers and have enough ingredients to prepare their food. read more

Fantastic new Thai fusion restaurant in Stuart. The wife had the Beef Bulgogi and I had the Short Rib special - both were fantastic. Our friend had the veggie Pad Thai and also loved it. Tip - Spice scale is 1-5 but they also offer to put the spice on the side. Note - just beer and wine. Definitely the best Asian food we've had in the Stuart area. The food was fantastic! My husband and I just left Bo Lan for dinner and we had a great experience. We started with the tuna nachos and Miami heat roll. You could tell that the ingredients were fresh. For dinner we had the Korean Beef Bulgogi and the Pad Thai. The flavors were spot on. From the warm greeting from Rosalind as we entered, to the interesting Asian influenced menu choices and delicious dining following, as well as the gracious service and the ability to actually hear friends' conversations in this lovely ambiance. We shared plates starting with tasty Spring rolls and Crab Rangoons. The Won Ton soup was wonderful as were the delicious Pineapple Rice, Chicken Siam and Beef Bulgogi entrees. The wine was chilled perfectly and poured timely! Since the restaurant is small we expected a slower service and appreciated not feeling rushed to turn the table over. Delicious food and great atmosphere. My husband and I had a date night here. They have fresh flowers on every table, linen table cloths and napkins. Good portions. The specials looked amazing, however I got the Thai curry of the day (they actually offer 3 different kinds). I always judge a Thai restaurant on their red curry and the ingredients were so fresh. Service was excellent. My only feedback to the owners is please find a way to be open for lunch. This is season and you're missing business. I tried to bring a friend and they're not currently open at lunch. read more

We parked there to have dinner, but first we walked down to the docks to catch a view of the sunset. When we came back our car was towed. It was $400 cash only to retrieve our car. We had a 6:45 reservation last night and were seated promptly. That was when things began to go downhill. Our order for drinks was taken ~ 15 minutes after we sat down, as well as our appetizers (which we had to change due to unavailability of several that were on the menu). We waited ~ another 15 minutes for the apps and placed our dinner order. We waited over 45 minutes for our food with the staff providing free appetizers and drinks, BUT that is not what we wanted. There must have been some type of issue with the kitchen. If so, then communicate that to your diners! Be up front and don't say your food will be out shortly. People who came in after us were served, but in a piecemeal fashion. We waited so long that we decided to have our dinners to go. The food was delicious, but the whole experience (even with 50% off) really ruined a Friday night that my family was looking forward to. The owners and chef need to get their act together!! read more
