It sure is nothing fancy but that's not exactly necessary to have a good time. I appreciate that the playground is fenced in and separated from the parking lot or road. There are slides and many things to explore and do in this little area for the children. I think the biggest strength for this playground is that it's really great for little children especially. Is this going to be the best, fanciest playground you can visit in town? No. But it's worth a stop if you're in the area! I do think the playground could absolutely use some TLC from the community center to keep it looking it's best.

There is a huge selection of paint your own pottery, canvas painting and glass fusion, plus they have a pottery wheel! It is so hard to find a pottery wheel around Memphis, but they have one here! My kids love the Kids' Corner (a cozy, out-of-the-way pocket for small children to play cars or dolls or even take a nap on the little sofa) and all of the kids' items for painting, plus even my husband will come in with us because they'll put the game on for him.

I went with my friends for an intro class to design and create a shirt using vinyl. Once we started designing she answered all of our questions and helped us create. Everyone was very supportive and it was nice to see other customers and what they were making as well. Once you learn, or know what you are doing, you can buy a day pass and just come in and use their equipment to create. I was very pleased with my shirt.

Each year, the studio does something fun. Last year, she was able to dance on a Carnival cruise and this year, she got to perform at Nationals in Sevierville, TN. A great big Kudos to the staff at the Dance Academy of Bartlett. They teach dance to children from…read morethe age of 3 all the way up to 18. My granddaughter was enrolled with them. This morning was their recital. The older kids did a ballet using the music and telling the story of the Wizard of Oz. The choreography was sensitive and obviously put together with a great deal of professionalism. Some of the older girls, in my humble opinion, seemed to have attained to a level of professionalism as well. I think that the recital, itself, provided a vision to the younger kids and their parents just to what level, they could attain, if they so chose. Of course, the choreography was appropriately suited for each age group. But I must admitted that my granddaughter stole the show.

It has awesome teachers, and…read moreawesome principle, the best people that go there, and as a student approaching in his last week there, I have to say that the past six and a half years were some of the best ever at a school. I started in Kindergarten with an amazing teacher...and now I'm leaving the sixth grade halfway through the year with an amazing teacher. The teachers here will make you and your kids smile, and though the mastermind behind all of the amazing lunches has retired this year...they still continue to use her recipes to make some of the greatest food ever. This school offers elementary and middle. I'm hoping one day that they might extend it to a high school. Everything about this school will just have you happy. The parents like it and a lot of the students love it. Everyone shares love whom is at this school for it. Coming from a kid who generally does not like school and homework, your child will love this amazing place. it has a Christian community with a class entitled Christian Faith Studies. It also teaches Spanish as well. No other languages at the moment, but their might be some, (French hopefully) that will be extended. i have more love for this school and the people in it than ever.
