Last year, I came across the Happy Thai Food stand near the end of the day, so I was only able to get a Thai tea. This year, we made a point to look for it and was quite happy to find it pretty much in the same spot it was last year. The Little Gal was hungry and she ordered the Pineapple Thai Fried Rice with Fried Tofu for $13. She was being pretty greedy with it and wouldn't exactly share, but the Little Guy got to try it. Before we left, the Little Guy wanted his own Pineapple Thai Fried Rice for himself. The Husband wanted to try the Curry Oil Thai Fried Rice with Fried Tofu for $13. He said he preferred their Pineapple Thai Fried Rice instead. I was going to get the Green Curry but was warned it was really spicy. So I ended up with the Panang Curry with Fried Tofu for $15. Mine also had a slight kick to it. The curries don't come with rice, so you do need to pay extra for that. It's only $2 more and it's a generous portion. The curry itself is also very generous. I had plenty of leftovers. We also got Thai Iced Teas for $3/each. The gentlemen working the food stand are the nicest. They are always so appreciative for your visit and friendly. We'll probably head that way when we visit again next year. There are a couple of tables next to their tent if you want to eat there. If you walk a little further, you can find more tables within the shopping area.

It was around late 11ish when we got there and thought he was closing down but he said they were still open and only had carnitas, al pastor and beef cheek left. So I ordered 10 al pastor tacos to try it out. They were sooo good! Kids were scarfing it down, hubie was makin a mess. There salsa was full of flavor and perfectly spicy. Throughout the whole chowdown the tortilla and meat stayed HOT HOT. I looked at them and we all nodded in agreement, time to order more! I ordered 4 more al pastor and 1 of each of the other meats to taste. Carnitas was crispy and had perfect texture. Beef cheek was tender. We also got 7up and Dr Pepper. Everyone was perfectly satisfied. Guy had great customer service, was friendly and answered all my questions. Super chill. Would definitely come here again. Can't wait to try their other menu items. Basically they pick a day where they are gonna be and the sell delicious tacos till they sell out. I think it's once every few weeks. The chicken taco has bacon and it adds crunch.
