I have never met staff more passionate and knowledgeable than I did just now in their store. Every worker was eager to help and could answer any question about ANY game. They have tables available first come first served and then they have a room you can rent hourly that's not expensive at all. They also have drinks and snacks to purchase too. I don't get to this store as often as I'd like, but when I do I am never disappointed. Very clean, well organized and a friendly and knowledgable staff. Great selection. Just today I called looking for a game my local store had a problem even finding in their system, let alone whether they had it incoming. Called Boardwalk and as soon as I mentioned the game Tim knew exactly the title I was lookng for and offered to set it aside til I could come pick it up. I asked about an accessory and he said he'd look into ordering it ; I was like, whatever its not a huge deal. He called back within ten minutes to let me know it wasn't available so I could try finding it somewhere else. If you're in the area, definitely worth stopping by. read more

Great selection of board games to buy; I believe they have every game under the sun! They also have a great demo selection behind the counter that can be played for free, no cover charge. An employee told me, "If you have a couple of friends and need a place to hang out and play some games, come on in; it's as simple as that!" The demo selection is not ultra expansive; about two ceiling-high shelves full, but for a free experience it is a great option. There were a few vital pieces missing from one of the demos that I pulled; but to learn the game it did the trick. read more

Boardwalk is a candy store for people who like to play games. This location is perfect, and very spacious. There is a very nice store front that includes chess boards, darts, boards and accessories, many card games and rows and rows of board games. In the back of the store there is a very nice game area with tables, comfy chairs and great lighting. There were easily 6 different games going on at the same time, my group was play Settlers of Catan. Snack & Drinks - there is a fridge with various carbonated drinks as well as a table full of jerky chips and other great snacky foods. read more

Love this place!!!! Friendly staff who are extremely knowledgeable about every game. I take 3 teenage boys with me and we check out a game, play for awhile and have a great time! The games are a bit pricey to purchase but I will pay the price in order to have a place I can take the boys to play. It's wonderful to have a place like this is Greenville!! We visited our in laws for Christmas and wanted to check out this place. We glad we did because it's one of the nicest game we've visited. The display for board games was really nicely laid out. A lot of space and there's a nice room on the back to play. The staff was really nice and helpful and there's a nice clearance table to get some good deals. read more

They have several clean and spacious tables in the back, and are great at working with local game runners to host events. They have some small snacks, and clean restrooms, and are always willing to find answers for questions about game systems they are not familiar with. read more
