And when we pulled in, I honestly didn't want to get myself, let alone my daughter out of the car. But since I trust the people at Pacers and Racers I decided to do it. We walk in and a nice woman greets us. I ask about soccer cleats for my daughter and she immediately told me she won't have her size. Mind you, I never said her size. They only had cleats in a few sizes and that was it. I looked around the musky smelling store and honestly didn't see a whole lot of anything. As she suggested, she didn't have her size. I am giving a 2 star because the woman at least sized her foot for me. But all in all, will never be back to this creepy looking place. Not just for the poor quality of inventory, but the sketchiness of the area and building itself.

So my visit to Pacers and Racers opened my eyes quite a bit. My wife has gotten interested and peer pressured into running organized races and I've come along for the ride. She's much better about wanting good fitting gear. At P&R, a very friendly and knowledgeable associate sits down with you and talks through what you're looking for, the application, and what you're using now. Turns out, I was wearing shoes that were too small and could definitely go up in sole padding. My guy watched my run and immediately noticed ways that my stride and gait could be helped. I pronate. Pretty badly. I came away with a brand of shoes I wouldn't have even considered if I hadn't been encouraged to try multiple pairs with running trials outside. I feel good about the whole process and the service provided by Pacers and Racers! I knocked out a two mile run this morning with them and felt great afterwards!

My experience with staff has always been welcoming and informative during my visits over the past few years with both buying and selling firearms and ammo. Store has plenty of stock to choose from and can also easily order items. Location has plenty of parking and is easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues. We're also grateful for their consistent support to the veteran community. We also enjoy the resident mascot dogs when they're around. :)

What I found was the available items were bigger ticket items (weight machines and full sets, treadmills, ellipticals, row machines). These are items that take up a lot of space. I was surprised by the number of smaller, new items, and it provides a great customer experience for shoppers. No need to drive to a big box store. They have an entire wall of shoes for every type of sport. This store provides a great variety - and I can't think of a sport missed. It was nice to see people enjoying their niche area, from a family with a son doing baseball and a young adult looking at golf clubs. Seeing all the options and accessories reminds me of the commitment people make when playing sports. We were greeted right away and allowed to browse without pressure.
