I was told to call ahead of time so they can add acid and charge up the battery, no problem. I was told the battery was $172 (before taxes, etc). I called the next day to order the battery and when I picked it up I was charged $203 (before taxes, etc.) I told the salesperson that I was told the battery was $172, he didn't care, he charged me $203. 2) They add 3% if you use a credit card, but not if you use a debit card or pay by check. No problem, I get it, but I told them you should let people know ahead of time (I would have brought a debit card), the salesperson said "sometimes" we tell the customer (huh?), the salesperson could care less. The salespeople's attitude was that they didn't care at all that they screwed this customer. I'm afraid they have lost a longtime and repeating (PWC and ski package) customer. Maybe business is so good they don't care about customers.

VIP Treatment with the boat pickup as they were flexible with scheduling, had a congratulations sign, everyone walking on the boat took their shoes off, they consistently offered drinks/restroom, their service guys came out to answer technical questions, and they highlighted critically important parts of the manual so I may quickly revisit for review as a lot of information was covered during pick up. They don't just want to sell you, but they want to make sure you are set up for success, you are safe, and you have an all around great experience on the water and with Buckeye. Customer oriented all around. Would recommend anyone give Buckeye the first stop before looking elsewhere.

When I finally got ahold of him I asked him what we need to do, did he need more money? He immediately stated screaming at me he already told me last week. I stopped him and said he must have me confused with a different customer. He told me to shut up. When I asked him not to speak to me that way, it was extremely unprofessional, he screamed more and told me to shut up again. At that point I screamed back and said I wanted my money and boat back. He said no and hung up. I called repeatedly demanding my boat back, told no and hung up on. When I got to the facility demanding my boat, Jim was a coward and wouldn't speak with me and I was only able to get my boat returned after Jim had a conversation with the police about my property. By far an untrustworthy and unstable person.

They provided some food and we brought some too. Just such a relaxing wonderful summertime thing to do. I highly recommend it. They have different size boats. You can just hop on the one going, or schedule one for yourself. They will provide the driver to navigate, and you just sit back and relax. They also have some cruises with live Musicians on board, which is really nice too.

They checked the wheel bearings. They gave us a transom saver for the drive home. They used a block of lumber & some carpet to made a wedge under the trolling motor so it didn't bounce around on our way home. They put a whole new taillight assembly on the left side which was not working. We dealt with Tom and one of the mechanics, both went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Vic's Sport Center for a new or used boat if you want a dealer with integrity and great customer service.

After about 5 calls and 30 minutes, Pier 619 came to get us and pull the busted boat back. The manager (I guess) was super rude, as if we caused the breakdown...um, ok...and said they would refund us but refused to give a receipt, so now we have to monitor our credit card. We get it, things break, but customer service should still be a priority. Luckily, the neighboring rental place called Dusty's had a boat available and were super nice and saved our day out. Kayaks are not maintained. No plugs, they take on water. Well I would have loved to start my reservation at the correct time and not delay your staff. I was late 20 minutes like you were 20 minutes on my reservation. If your delay made it to where my family and I could not enjoy ourselves on the water then you should have not let us start in the first place. We were not warned that our time was being cut short. I will not return to this location or any business that's states "Ernie" on the building as he kept pointing out. Canal Fulton canoe livery kayaks are well maintained and the staff are friendly. We will be recommending them to friends and family and avoiding this location for now on. So if you're thinking about kayaking here, look into canal Fulton... same water, better staff, better pricing, better trip!!!

Workers were super nice, 6mi ride was serene but the kayaks were awful! We have only ever been to…read moreplaces that use the Old Town kayaks in the past and can usually chill for a bit without paddling on calm water. Water was calm on our ride, but the 2nd we stopped paddling, these kayaks were immediately start to turn sideways or backwards. My son's kayak had a completely jammed seat back rendering it useless and his foot holders were broken so he got a sore back half way through the ride. My daughter's foot holders also broken. Lesson learned, assess the kayaks ur gonna have before they load them on the trailer or just take ur own if an option.
