The service department here is awesome! I've had sub par experiences with many other local boat dealerships, not this one. Adam in service was not only prompt in ordering the items I needed but his team delivered and finished the install quickly. The labor portion ran longer than originally quoted (not their fault, hardware was corroded), they called to notify me so there were no surprises when I came to pick it up. Best part, the boat was washed when I picked it up - I cannot tell you how much it grinds my gears when I pick a boat up from service with dirty/greasy handprints all over it! I will be taking my boat here from now on for any service needs. Important note: I did not purchase this boat from Boaters Exchange, nor is it a brand they carry. Had 200 hour service done on two honda bf250 outboards. Jerry and i went over the pre printed service sheet for yamahas and made notes for the hondas. Jerrys estimate was slightly less than another certified honda shop in the area. As part of trying boaters exchange for the first time I walked their repair area, listened to the techs conversation and also talked to the techs. Area was well organized and techs seemed to take pride in doing the job right. I had the boat picked up at a local boat ramp. Work was done and boat returned as estimated. Actually only needed the water pump impeller kit rather than the full replacement. So slightly less than estimated. I recieved a phone debrief from the manager that called me when the boat was ready to go. He went over all of the work done and some comments re wear and condition. Also recieved a hard copy and email of the work order with the tech's notes and the honda engine diagnostics printout. They kept the old parts for me to pickup. Engines run just fine. I plan to use Boaters exchange again. read more

I bought a new Nautic Star from Boater's Exchange in February and am really happy with the boat and Boater's Exchange. Aaron was my salesman and I really liked working with him. I had started talking to him almost a year ago and he was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about boats, but never pushy - he never tried to sell me a boat just because they had it in stock. I also liked the Paul the sales manager. I felt like he dealt with me fairly and honestly on my trade-ins and the purchase. When I couldn't decide between two boats, he didn't have any problem with putting both in the water for me to sea trial before making a decision. I also have to say I was really impressed with the customer service from Jerry in the service department. When I casually inquired about getting guide-ons for the trailer from the manufacturer, he said he would have to call them to check on pricing and let me know. I did not expect him to call me ten minutes later, I wasn't even home yet. Jerry ordered them and had them there in two days along with the trolling motor I wanted. One of his guys even called me on the day in between just to let me know they were on the way. That's great service. At some point, I talked to all the sales guys and they were all great. FIRST CLASS OPERATION, I recently purchased a 2018 Everglades 243cc and I can't be more pleased with my experience. Mitch was our salesman. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and very attentive throughout the entire process. His patience through my order process as we continued to change little items, here and there was impressive. I was not the easiest person to deal with, constantly texting, asking questions, he always answered and was there for us throughout. He got a factory tour set up for us so we could see our boat being built, which I highly recommend for anyone buying an Everglades! He invited us to the boat show in Orlando, the dealership invited us to their VIP party night before their expo. Paul, the owner, made an announcement to everyone celebrating our purchase which made us feel like part of the family. The day of delivery we had a voltage alarm come on, it was 8pm and I texted Mitch, he sent the picture out to his team, they helped as best they could, we dropped boat off the next morning and it was back to us that day. We are loving our boat, coming out of a Ranger that was like pulling teeth to get warranty work done and never getting response from sales team and service at Sundance. Absolute Garbage. Start to finish. Poor customer service, broken promises, shabby work. Supposed to be done in 3 days. They called at the end of the third day only to tell me they haven't even started. I was told the boat would be ready by noon on tuesday (one full week later). When I showed up at noon on tuesday, Jerry acted like he had never seen me before. I had to explain what boat was mine and what it was there for. He then said "Not done yet, maybe try back in a few hours, or we can give you a call". No- you should have called me when you realized it wasn't going to be ready at the agreed upon time, and saved me a trip. They were supposed to provide computer print-out of engine diagnostics (Agreed upon before starting service). After the boat was ready for pick-up said "Sorry, the cable is broken". Their mechanic called me the next day and asked why I didn't bring my boat back to get the downloads. I said that I didn't know it was ready. He said "Bring it in whenever you can and we will take care of it." Stopped by the next day, and again Jerry the service manager looked at me like he had never met me before. When I told him why I was there, he said I was wrong and he heard the entire conversation, and I needed to set up an appointment. The mechanics had already left for the day. The service manager Jerry, felt it was important to tell me that the people that clean my boat have done poor service for them in the past and I should go with their detailing service. The fuel line was cracked, and leaking into the well, causing a stain. None of the mechanics figured that out, their service man who was washing the boat showed me the problem, and how to fix it myself. Some of the obstacles are understandable. Parts take time, mechanics get behind. I get that. But the fact that they don't call when there is a change to the schedule, is not acceptable. And the fact that Jerry is very smug and not concerned that I was not pleased in the slightest is the primary reason I will not be back read more

Last engine service I did last year was at Castaways in Melbourne and although they have a few good service techs their prices are astronomically high. I switched over to boaters exchange and I am very satisfied and happy with their whole service department. Last service recently was explained to me in detail and performed very well, timely and at a reasonable cost. What makes a big difference is the time the staff takes to listen to you and come back with fine tuned explanations from multiple sources as to what happens and why.
