This is a fun place. It was empty except for at 7PM and when we remarked on it he said an hour earlier and it was slammed with customers. We had a lovely meal. The service was very good. Went to the Boathouse Tuesday night-was not expecting much. But my Teriyaki Chicken was really great. It was the special. After traveling and eating out for a week I was ready for a healthier option. The chicken was so tasty and served on some fresh squashes with some sesame seeds and plain rice which I could choose to eat plain or not which was great. The teriyaki sauce was just right. This is a restaurant that we frequent. It lies in a quaint, small desert town. The menu is fairly simple, but with still enough choices from burgers to sandwiches to great breakfast to satisfy any palate. Cute little spot in Meadview that offers indoor and outdoor seating in the front and back + is dog friendly! They serve a full breakfast and lunch menu as well as have alcohol (beer, mimosas, wine, Pina coladas!) I ordered the country fried steak and eggs. This was a 5/5 for sure! The country fried steak was perfectly crispy and not too thin. The potatoes it came with were soft and seasoned well. And even the toast was perfect with just the right amount of butter (a ton!) Visiting from the Grand Canyon, we were looking for a place for lunch. They have great outdoor and indoor seating with the kindest waitress. Although they claimed they couldn't put two tables together indoors for our larger group they were great with kids and chatted with us about what to do in the area. Our first visit and not our last to Meadview and the BoatHouse Cafe. They offer outside seating (front/ back) with fantastic decor and views are amazing. They offer breakfast and lunch along with alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine, mix drinks or seltzers. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger and bacon guacamole cheeseburger with fries and onion rings. The burgers are big, filling and delicious. The fries were only ok but the onion rings were great! I will say the prices on the menu were lower than what we were charged, it's very possible they recently changed prices and just haven't updated menus. The total was reasonable though, especially if you don't have alcohol. Highly recommend if you are in the area, it's a true gem that we are looking forward to returning to. read more

It started to get busy when we came in, there were two tables, during our visit the place started filling up I can say 5 tables inside were full, 2 tsbles out in back patio, and about 8 people in front patio. Had an opportunity to stop in for a late lunch while visiting the Grand Canyon Skywalk. We drove through Meadview town and stopped at this corner grille which was recommended by Meadview RV Park. The location was very well maintain inside and out. It was clean and had an assortment of menus selections. Let me tell you the food did not disappoint. I ordered a patty melt and hubs ordered the Rueben sandwich. Both were freshly cooked to perfection. Service was great, and the place had a nice vibe. Upbeat music constantly playing in the background also, on display was an assortment of varying memorabilia decorating the surrounding walls. We were vacationing in Meadview and looking for a good place to eat, found the BoatHouse online and decided to check it out! Place is super clean inside & out. They do have indoor dining currently & do not require masks (made me slightly uncomfortable but we took our food to go). Very nice lady took our order (large group). The only thing is I believe they're under new management or have at least changed their menu because a lot of the offerings are not current. But what they do have is SO GOOD! We took our food to go & went to the lookout point about 5 mins down the road to watch the sunset. Best day ever & amazing food!
