Terrible! I'm an idiot for trying this place after a terrible experience last year, but I was camping nearby and desperately needing to get seagull Pooh off my car! The first stall ate 3 of my quarters, it would take no more and there's NO way to request them back! No push button to retriev your quarters! So I moved stalls, dang- I had to drop in $3.75 ( 3 extra ) for it to come ON! Long irritating story.... I paid $4.50 ( instead of $3) for a few crappy minutes of yucky milky water! my car actually looked worse when it ended! There are NO numbers to call ( well 1 online, disconnected!). worse business ever! I actually called City of Grover Beach and said "This disgusting, cheating slop of a business is an embarrassment to your city that is trying to make big improvements!" Don't GO here! rip off!!!!! I know a lot of people have slammed this place, but I've used it twice to hose off the sand after taking my truck down to the beach. The other day I got hit by a wave and the passenger side was really mucked up. Had to hose it off so I headed to Bob's. There was a guy emptying the garbage there, but he didn't speak English. I wanted to see if he could cash a five dollar bill but we couldn't communicate. I ended up scrounging some change and dollar bills and it worked. Change machine got me eight quarters with no problems. I paid the $3 to get three minutes, I think. It worked fine. Powerful hose and it gives a warning sound when you are running out of time. All in all, it solved my problem. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I drove up and asked do the $30 car wash, only to be told my car was overdue for a detail and I'd have to make an appointment. He said I could get the $10 one, which I didn't want. So I asked again for the $30 and was basically told that my interiors were too dirty to be serviced at that rate (with no indication how much it would cost otherwise bc $30 was the highest or went, not that I would have chosen it.). One and done! We stopped here to wash our car and the change machine didn't even work. After trying several one dollar bills unsuccessfully, we left and laughed as we did. If you are not going to offer a way to pay by card (old technology used by many self car washes), then at least have your quarter machine working. Holy cow! It reminds me of the time I stopped at a Burger King and they were out of Whoppers (true story). With this kind of lame management, why does a business even operate? They take your money ($15.00). They spray your car, wash the outside of the car, windows and sides only. Asked them to wash the roof of the car and was motioned to move through. Not recommended. Go across the street to the other car wash. read more

Dirty facility. Change machine is ALWAYS broke or out. Water pressure cuts in half if another person uses the hose in one of the 4 spots. Lots and lots homeless stopping by to ask for change. Go to AG. Much cleaner and safer. read more

Unfortunately, this is one of those occasions -- the first time, and I pray to god the last I will ever have to mention that rule. To the owner: PLEASE, take care of the pigeon problem! There are pigeons living in the rafters of your car wash. I can't take care of my business when they're hanging their butts over the edge of a beam taking care of theirs. Yeah this place sucks. I can tell the owner hasn't put a dime into this place in many years. The pressure was half of what it should've been because there were a couple other stalls being used, but for about three seconds I got better pressure because somebody stopped using their hose. It shouldn't be this way! But I've seen this business unchanded for so many years and I'm pretty sure this review won't make a bit of difference. The owner of this car wash is beyond rude. I wash my bike once a week here. I decided to get my quarters all at once (15.00) rather than Each time. The owner came around the corner Said he didn't think I was going to wash my bike. I told him I was. He said he thought I was just taking laundry quarters. I said If I wanted laundry quarters wouldn't I just use the machine next door at the laundromat? Besides I had no laundry with me much less on my bike wich is just silly. He wanted his quarters back. I said you know your not losing money, I gave you money for the quarters. He just kept on. Horrible treatment of customers. Since I can't wash my bike at home because of water conservation, and now I can't at the car washes because he owns both near my home. I'm S.O.L. Many services do not work. Several bays either don't have pressure, or the spotless rinse doesn't work, or the knob to change the feature you want doesn't turn. The owner leaves no way of contact or feedback. Number (I gad to dig for online) is a landline that nobody answers. To me, this is theft. Paying for advertised services and not receiving them. This spray wash is a joke, horribly maintained, and has no management on site. Even the week after it was completely remodeled, it still functioned horribly. Unfortunately this spray wash is the nearest place to wash off the car near my home but every time I come here there are broken wash stalls, horrible water pressure in the working stalls, broken change machine, people blocking stalls while they dry & detail their vehicles, people blocking stalls waiting for their dopeman, pigeons (living in the stalls) crapping everywhere, homeless hanging around, it's an absolute circus. You would think that a coin operated spray wash would be a very simple service to operate, but without management onsite this property is only used for spray washing about 30-50% of the time. The rest of the time it is a free lot that is used by the local community for many uses. Can someone please turn this into a real spray wash? read more

I was washing my car and soon as I was done I went to pull out and my car got crapped on by one of the hundreds of pigeons living in there. This place smells like an old toilet. I agree w/ previous comment. The vacuum lasts only a short while & I had to pay twice. And, 5 minute spray & wash isn't enough time for a CAR! It ends up costing @ $8 to have enough time. It's probably better to spend that $10 & have it done at a carwash place that does it for you. Not owners fault, however, pigeons fly around there constantly & poop is everywhere. I would give this service less than one star if possible. I experienced the same thing with the car wash that is done by workers - totally surprised when they didn't dry the car and of course none of the workers respond to you when you ask about it. I also used one of the locations that you pay $3 in change for and the machine took my money and didn't work. I have tried to call the number of the business (for over a year now) and there is never any answer. Whomever owns this business is hiding out making money on broken car wash facilities and there is no recourse except to not patronize them so he can go out of business. read more
