My 1st time at Bob's. Car was not that dirty, but had a lot of bugs splattered on the car from a recent trip up to the Bay Area. I specifically asked if they could pay a little extra attention to their "pre-rinse scrub" of the front bumper & window to help clean off the bugs prior to the drive-through. Not only were most of the bug residue still there after the wash, but my car ended up with water spots since drying is not included in the service. Clearly , their anti-water spot spray is a gimmick. Weird experience. Went on a Friday morning at 8:50am - not a single car was there and 3 guys were available and ready to help. I asked for a full wash and was told there was not enough time to do it, and I have to say I was a bit surprised looking around and not seeing a single customer. Was told I could come back on a Monday or Tuesday, LOL. What a weird experience, needless to say I don't recommend and won't be back. read more

The last three times I have been, they do not rinse the car before starting to wash. So they are rubbing around the dirt. Then after leaving, it is clear they have missed many sports during the hand wash as seen by the dirt left behind on the roof, side and back. I have brought this to there attention, and all I get is we will do better. No attention to detail, and I do not think they really care. read more

Love this place! it's fast, inexpensive and they do a good job. Hand washed, no tracks, and they use the anti-water spot spray, so just drive around the block to dry off. read more

$10 for a car plus $10 for a towel dry and a $10 tip (paid up front). Left with a wet, dirty car. I appreciate the ingenuity of using a leaf blower to help dry the car but come on. You've got to do more than (literally) slap the car with a wet towel and call that dry. This place used to be a great deal. Now? Not so much. read more

I went to Bob!s today after reading a positive review on Next Door. I will never go here again. The people that helped were rude. They refused to fry the car but most of the workers were non-English speaking so there was little understanding. I told one fellow I needed it dried. He yelled "No." by the time I was leaving another guy run out who could understand English and said he would. N ok thanks. What chaos. Where is the owner and why did he hire such rude and unskilled employees? We hate shame. I came here when he was first opening a year ago and the owner was so polite and helpful. Yeah so there's no signs that don't say they don't dry your car and my family and I are from out of town and my dad was mad because the car was soaking wet so he went back and asked for a refund because there's no signs and they barely washed the truck. This carwash use broken hoses for self wash. The inside core is leaking oil, the employees confurmed this. But don't take responsibity for his equipment. It couses unfixable damages to my clothes and they don't compensatie for it. Even got agressive by it. Hope there is something to do about this idiotic company. Thank you! read more

They raised their prices again, by two dollars for a truck. Boo! And they still don't even dry your vehicle. This place is horrible, if they had a dryer I could see the reason for the jump in price. And they really try to rush you out of here which I get but at least do a good job. Looks like I'm done with this place, and the place across the street is even worse. All I gotta say is horrible service with the hand wash. Will never go back and recommend no one use them, unless they like to throw away $.

I stop by every 1-2 weeks for a car wash. I am always busy and the guys get you in and out quick. All while staying in your car, you pay, then 2-3 guys use sponges to remove the dirt and soap it up, and then you run it through a water rinse. They do not dry it, however, they offer towels for a cheap price. I let it air dry because they use a spot free rinse. Typically it takes 10 minutes at the most. It's obviously not as good as if I hand washed it, but for the time it saves me and the cheap price, I am very happy with the service I receive. read more

Before construction started in the shopping center, I went here about 2 times a week (different cars) and was very pleased with the car wash (self serve). Now, however, there is nobody there and the water has no pressure and also there is no soap! Barely got the car wet and far from clean. read more

I was very disappointed using the self service equipment. I had a ton of bird droppings on my roof from parking under the wrong tree. Turned it to "rinse" and it was pulsating at 400-500 psi. I ask the attendant if this is high pressure rinse, he replies yes. It felt like spot free a low pressure function. I showed him it wouldn't even knock off the bird s!?t. He gave me time in the other bay to finish. Cool, maybe a loose belt, or uploader problem. Turned it to rinse, and 600-700 psi at best, nearly the same. You have to be kidding me, still can't knock it off the roof. Then foam brush, really? Cheap 1-2" abrasive brush, great for tires, not so great for paint. Trying using Ernie 5" hog hairs. Honestly, I don't even live in area, just visiting family and wanted to support a ss Carwash .But I do know a thing or too about ss car washes. These issues aren't caused by a customer running over a gun, or jamming changer with wrinkled bill. This is basic maintenance. Invest in your locals with good service, they will comeback if a good product. Don't rely on the duners rinsing sand off as you clearly do. They remember too as I always will read more

You would be better off doing it yourself. And the self serve car wash on the west end of Grand Avenue is even worse. The pigeons are crapping on your car as you wash it and the brushes scratch your paint do yourself a favor and stay away from both of this guy's car washes they truly suck. read more

Used the self serve bay. Wash was fine, good pressure. I switched to "spot free rinse" for an additional $3. It started with good pressure, then after 4-5 seconds the pressure dropped, another 4-5 seconds, it dribbled, and then stopped altogether. No way to thoroughly rinse the car without giving more $$. This is the second time this has happened to me. Bob's Express Wash is not worth the time nor money. read more

Save your money or spend a little extra and go across the street. I usually go to Sunset car wash but I thought I'd give Bob's a try since I just wanted the outside done. The employees have all the personality of an ex-girlfriend. You get herded through the "hand wash" like a bunch of cattle to slaughter. The wash stall is a partially installed automatic car wash that looks like they ran out of money. The guy snatching ten bucks out of your hand looks like you're bothering him. The wash job is "half-assed", at best. They smear the dirt around and loudly grunt out some commands that you are supposed to interpret into "move ahead" or "you're done; get the Hell out of here". There is no "dry cycle". You can buy their disposable towels our use your own; if only there was a place to pull over and dry it. There it's no doubt that neither I nor anybody I care about will spend another penny there. You're less likely to experience good customer service than to be run over by a unicorn. F this place, I just spent a bunch of money washing and my car dies, I haven't driven it in like two months so my bad, the employees here are some of the most slimy people I have ever came across, I straight up got extorted, for help!!!! what happen to being a decent human being...not only that but come on guys I am your customer. This is an odd place. It has two stalls that are regular self-serve car wash stalls. In the third stall, they have installed a semi-automatic wash. They do a manual wash with you still in the car, then you drive into the semi-automatic wash for a rinse. There is no dry, although towels are available for a buck to do it yourself. Not my cup o'tea, but it is *much* faster than the fully-manned car wash catty-corner across the street. read more
