I have gone to this business for a number of years and they are so polite and try to be helpful. I know the owner because I am a frequent customer in the neighborhood. Today I was so tired from working all day. I made a purchase and went back to my car where I locked my car keys, purse etc. in my car. Mike who was working called my triple A to help but in the interim he helped me get my car unlocked (which is difficult for my make and model of car usually). He helped me and called triple A for me and took the time to help me get in my vehicle. Mike is Bob's "Ninja of the Smoke Shop" and got into my car within probably less than 5-10 minutes and I was able to call triple A and cancel my lock out. I truely am thankful to Mike at Bob's Smoke Shop on El Cajon Blvd. He cared, was compassionate and he did not have to help me. He was so professional, kind and friendly and knew what he was doing. I came here few times, mostly for rolling papers and lighters. It's conveniently located in the shopping center right next to Vons, guys who work here are always nice and I personally never had any issue with this business. Recently I bought a nice big glass bong for just $39.99 and I'm very haply with it. The thickness of glass is the same as on the bong I bought for $110 somewhere else. They have great accessories and capes ect.. but the guy in the counter is rude I've gone there about 3 times first I bought a smok vape which was great but he did not tell me that some part where made out of glass I drilopnot and it shattered I went the next day and said if I could get some type of discount for a new one hr said no. There is no sign no morning got a receipt saying sales are final . The second time which was today I bought a 5$ pipe broke 30min later didnt even used it so I went back hoeing for a new one he said no as well it's a nice store but horrible customer service! read more

This place sucks! These guys have sold me atomizers that were wrong for my set up, stripped my tank threading, and argued with me over what batteries I use. I'm doesn't take a lot to get 5 stars from me but damn... I walked in today ( and I only go there when I need convenience), there was one guy in front of me. They guy tells me he will be right with me, four people come in several minutes after me and he proceeds to help all four people before I just walk out. I gladly paid $4 bucks more for the same juice down the road. read more

SHADY SHADY SHADY!!! Don't buy your smoke stuff here. I bought vape pen refills last night and the one I put in didn't work. I returned to the store tonight with my vape pen and the refills I bought for $16. I just need the vape pen to work for my roadtrip and really aint trippin about the cost. I explained the situation to the guy behind the counter, he wasn't very smart, and he asked me if I was sure I bought the refills at that store. I looked at him like "what?" uh, yes I bought these last night at this store. Then he says "who did you buy them from?" I was like "The dude behind the counter." He then asked me like 3 times before he called the other guy who works there and face timed me. I'm like, dude it's not that serious... I just want a vape pen that works. Anyway, the dude on the phone told me I had to buy a vape pen pack that came with refills in order to test the refills he sold me on a different vape system. So, stupid me, I did and the didn't work. He told me if they didn't work he would of course refund me... NOPE... The guy tells me he doesn't like the way I'm talking and that I can come back tomorrow. WOW... so I took my new vape pen that I didn't need, which cost me $15 along with the bogus refills that didn't work and also cost me $15 dollars and left. I am going to dispute the charges and get my money back but what an insult. Now I am home and I opened a 3rd refill and instantly could tell that it's heavier and boom it works... THE REFILL CARTRIDGE PACK THEY SOLD ME HAD 2 BLANKS... DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE. They must buy their stuff off the back of a truck because it's bogus. My roommate also told me the cigarettes he bought there on 2 occasions were old and stale and didn't taste at all like they are suppose to. He suspects they buy their product from a shady source and so he quit shopping there. I plan on reporting them to the State of California just to make sure they have the correct licenses and tax stamps for their products. All of this over $30 that I am going to get back from my credit card company... ridiculous. read more

Came in to buy an e cig for my dad to try and get him to stop smoking cigarettes. Im not a smoker so I have no idea how stuff like that works. The man working was extremely helpful. He answered all of my questions and showed me how to set up the e cig. He also told me I can reduce the amount of nicotine for my dad. I bought a starter kit from him for my dad to See how he likes it. If he likes it ill buy something better for him. The employee was friendly, and knowledgeable. He was not pushy at all. This place is not bad if you're looking for a cigar, a good selection and the humidor is not that small. Their a little pricey considering their in the middle of no where. I unfortunately have no interest in any other forms of tobacco so I can not comment on that. The dude working there either didn't have any knowledge about the products or just didn't care to talk to me. He Didn't say hi back to me when I walked in the store and he picked up the phone to talk to his friend while he was ringing me up and then he put them on speakerphone. The shop itself is nice. But the service and pricing are disappointing.I wanted to try the store out because it was close to me. But I know for a fact that I should have paid at least $10 less on the total and I would have at other shops like The Cave. I paid $38 for a bottle of glass cleaner, two small down stems, and a tiny package of hemp Wick. This dude didn't even wrap the glass right, he put them both in a paper bag and then just handed them to me. He could have at least put them in separate bags. They are glass!
