The selection of games- especially older games- are great. Massive nostalgia looking at old Atari…read moregames, PS2 games, and everything else. A few gripes. The people working were talking really grossly about women the entire time while I (a woman) stood in front of them. My husband even joked that I should ask questions to see how often they looked at him to answer as the man. The other major issue was the bathroom. It has a sign warning of the "wrong ways to use the bathroom" and that using their bathroom was a privilege, not a right. But the bathroom itself had blood drips down the walls and on the floor, followed by not having toilet paper. Even washing my hands I felt like I wasn't actually getting cleaner. I will say that I asked someone for recommendations and they very obviously googled things before realizing they didn't carry any of the games he named. He then tried googling a bunch of random titles to see if they fit my interests, which I can just do myself. Great concept, not so great experience.

The gentleman was professional and quick and resolved my issue. They also have popular RPG games, like Magic & Warhammer, etc if you're into that. I'll keep returning for the vintage games (& possibly some newer) that's for sure.

Been around for awhile now. Maybe a year. They buy and sell Magic Cards, video games, and DVDs…read more They also sell RPG systems, dice, figurines, as well as board games such as Settlers of Catan and others. The business is kinda small, but hopefully they can make more room to accomadate the growing number of people coming up for Friday Night Magic as well as their other gaming tournaments. Supposedly, soon they will also start to get in comic books into the store. Hopefully, a good selection as well as graphic novels. The two owners are for the most part pretty easy to speak with. They are very into Magic the Gathering themselves and have pretty decent knowledge of a lot of what people want. Sometimes, they get pretty busy with all the people trying to buy things and you have to wait awhile, but nothing too long. A decent business with a bright future as long as the owners are smart and grow slowly and continue to get along with their patrons.

They have a fantastic selection of family games, card games, wooden puzzle games, and etc. etc. etc. This tiny little hole in the wall (I know the owner John is looking at getting a larger place) truly is a fantastic stop. For those of you who are not that interested in playing Magic, or Yu-Gi-Oh, no worries. Stop in anyway and don't let the external trappings dissuade you. The owner, John, and his wife have chosen an excellent selection of games. You'll find games suitable for the very youngest kids, for instance 5, 6, and 7 years old, through to very challenging and intense games good for multiple day long gaming sessions. John is very knowledgeable about his games, and if you talk through what you like with him he will be sure to show you some new things you've never heard of before that you will enjoy. Very good selection of Ticket to Ride modules, Dominion games, and many others. Also if you are a card gamer, he has several table set up for card duels. Very delightful place.

wow, i was really impressed when i came here…read more this place has multiple aspects to it, but the main appeal is the multitude of board games that they have to offer here. the main way it works is that you come in, you tell them how big your party is, and then you can go right ahead and start playing board games. you're allowed to take something like 5-6 at a time, but basically there is an unlimited number of games here that you have access to. they have pretty much all the popular stuff, like catan and exploding kittens, but a lot of other things too which vary in terms of difficulty and other factors while you're sitting at your table, they can also bring you drinks and food, which all looks pretty good even though all i got was a mimosa, which was great and only $6. alternatively, i also saw some people here getting brunch without playing any board games. apparently they have bottomless mimosas here and while i can't remember the price, i recall it being a really good deal lastly, they have a cafe in here where i saw lots of people sitting doing work on laptops. so, they really have everything here

Came here with friends & kiddos for Sunday brunch & games. We had such a great time!…read more Such a cool building and a great location for a full day of STL activities. There are so many games to choose from, everything is incredibly well organized, and I loved their brilliant flag system for ordering, requesting game assistance, and letting staff know when you're ready to check out. It makes the whole experience feel effortless. The staff was also super friendly and attentive. I had the Breakfast Fried Rice Bowl and would definitely recommend it. Adding avocado & mushrooms is absolutely the way to go! And if you're craving a fancy coffee, there's a great coffee spot conveniently located in the same building. Definitely a fun spot to add to your STL itinerary!
