I played AMERICAN Legion Baseball for Monk, John mariani for 4 years. Our top rival was Braintree coached by Don Fredrick's, and his son Kirk was on the team, and Canton coached by Brownie. Erick LaShappelle was on that team. Henry improved my game dramatically and we played Sunday recreational games at West Newton Commons, and I also played Junior Park League baseball in Brighton behind the friendlys for Henry's Baseball Club. Henry was available to call during normal hours. He is a very honest, caring manager. He'd never lie to,vor mislead a player. He has hundreds of connections and dates and times of MLB tryouts. I've never in my 30 years of knowing Henry heard of anyone feeling cheated or lied to. Henry is not that kind of person. He'd refund your payment if you were not happy with his club. He never required me to pay Western Union...that's how I know that these reviews are total lies. Also he gives you a printed copy of all 30 MLB tryouts and locations. So the other review is a lie. Henry is the best Baseball manager that I've ever met. He TREMENDOUSLY improved my game in all areas. I had my best fun happy days playing with Henry's Baseball Club. This large park is located close to the Watertown business district. There is some parking here too. It's a lovely spot. Saltonstall is a pretty uncommon name and in this instance likely refers to the cofounder of the city of Watertown. Other Saltonstall decendents include a US Representative (in the 1830s) and Governor of Massachusetts (1939-1945).

Finally, one employee relented and gave me the ice cream I ordered, but the other employee kept snatching it away and eating it herself. 0/5 stars for the ice cream parlor.

This is a large park with a really nice playground and also access to great trails for walking. One…read morething that really sets the playground apart from others is the large sand pit with a huge selection of digger trucks and other sand toys that kids can use. The only downside is the playground is right by the water and not fenced in...the view of the water from the swings is very tempting to young children. Of course when I needed to help one child the other ran straight into the water. If there was a fence around the playground to make it easier to keep kids from running toward the water, I'd definitely give this place five stars.
