Icons of the Revolution and Boston history (Red-coated soldiers, Faneuil Hall, Colonial Fife and Drummers, Paul Revere, and Colonial minutemen fighters) join other American history icons from Boston, New York, Philadelphia (Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty, Bald Eagle, Horse and Buggy, a mining town) to populate the 18 holes of this very cool miniature golf course that does a good job of combining fun and a history lesson for the kiddies. Now look, Myrtle Beach Mini Golf this ain't. No state-of-the-art fancy-schmancy mini golf holes here.  No water hazards, no spinning windmill blades, no motion/movement hazards, no high altitude mountains or volcanos, no pirate ships, no dinosaurs, no jungle rain forests, no bells and whistles. This is a pretty basic design of a course that looks like it's been around a while Some of the greens showed signs of age. Quite a few of the greens were heavy with water, and on Hole #7, we had a few balls stuck on an underground ramp that required the attendant to hustle over and ream them out. But, a lot of those factors are evened out by the rock bottom pricing $8 for adults and $6 for kids under 12 you'll pay here for a few hours of fun.Our 4fur and six year old golfers couldn't care less about the lack of modern technology at the Village Green. Aside from the fact that my score was dismal, I had a great time here this week! They are doing a great job of using sanitation and distancing procedures to make sure everyone can safely have fun. The staff are very attentive and put in much effort to maintain the course. My one piece of feedback would be to remove the blue foam inserts from the golf holes. Some of the foam inserts are so tall that the ball can rolls right over the hole instead of going in. read more

came here for mini golf during covid and it was a lot of fun! easy to space out and avoid other groups. They have foam insert's in the holes so you dont need to worry about sticking your hand in someplace that might be gross and wet from the previous days rain. The course was a bit dated and needed a paint job but was fun regardless. Music was a bit weird but just made for good conversation. read more

We, 4 adults, were pleasantly surprised with this fairly challenging mini golf course with the historical theme. As a retired teacher I love the way some of Bostons historical buildings and US history was depicted throughout the course. It was well kept, very clean and had some interesting realistic art. I would have given it 5 stars if it was located more in the countryside of Natick. Well done!! read more

I went here last night after a really unsuccessful trip to the Natick Mall, and I happily experienced my first mini golf win of the season! There's a sign out in front that says that this course was built sometime in the 60s, and well - it looks like it. But I really do mean that in the best way possible. The obstacles and the greens themselves have been well-maintained, and the holes were really fun and just challenging enough without being obscenely difficult. I really loved the American history / Freedom Trail theme - I'm pretty sure my favorite part is the fact that the Faneuil Hall obstacle plays a looped and very muffled old recording of some dude reading the text of the U.S. Constitution. The stuff people have written about this course being buggy were right - even in mid-May - so do bring some bug spray. I don't know if I would go TOTALLY out of my way to come back here, but if I find myself once again looking for something to do before or after a trip to the mall, this place is an outstanding option. read more

I recently visited this place while in the area for a social gathering with a group. I am not a huge fan of mini golf, but will go along with it. Even though the address for this place is Route 9, it's set way, way back, and the course itself is barely even visible to Route 9. It's behind the road in between Party City and Papa Gino's on Route 9 Westbound in Natick. Tons of parking, 18 holes, ice cream, a seating area, and more. The course itself is well designed with a plethora of different challenges and obstacles. Even though I am not great, I found the course to be more entertaining and intricate than McGolf and some other nearby mini golf spots. Staff were friendly and it's a very well maintained and clean spot to come have some fun mini golfing. Decent amount of shade, for most holes, and tons of lights for night time golfing! Sort of high priced for what it is ($6 or $7 for adults), but it's still worth it. Convenient location right on Route 9, and in general a good spot for mini golf. 4 stars. read more

This is a cute little 'Freedom trail' themed mini-golf course. Get your Boston history on here! It's really small and without the frills of the more modern courses, but come on it's mini-golf. It's a great way to spend some time if you're in the area. You should check it out at least once just for the kitsch value if nothing else! This may be one of the oddest mini golf courses I've ever played at. The theme - history. Seriously. They refer to themselves as "a true reminder of the freedom trail and carries an educational and patriotic theme." So you don't get any crazy cool things on the courses. There are no big dinosaurs, no waterfalls, no nothing. You get a "natural setting with green grass, flowers, cobblestone paths, miniature historical buildings, life-size statues and other colonial replicas make this a unique miniature golf experience." Yeah, so I stole a lot of my review from their website. I quoted it though, so it's not really plagiarism. I guess the place just really isn't in touch with what the kids want, but heck, it's been there for more than 40 years, so maybe people like the educational twist? I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but if you're really craving mini golf, I believe this is your only choice in the area. I suggested hopping in the car and taking a road trip elsewhere, but heck, it's still mini golf so it gets three stars. read more

What a great find! You can tell that this mini golf course has been around for a long time, but the grounds are so well kept and all the decor is updated, freshly painted and clean. For it being so early in the season I was so impressed that they had such green grass, mulch and were ready to go! The course itself is pretty quick and some of the holes were pretty close together. It wasn't busy at all when we went so luckily it didn't matter. The historical theme is so clever. I was able to learn a few things about Boston and have fun! They had picnic tables and a shaded area that would probably be great for families. read more

The good news about this place, it has obstacles and is what a mini golf course should look like. Its 6 bucks each to play here and is a nicely designed course tucked away on busy route 9 behind an IParty. The staff is friendly and there is even an arcade (dismal) with a few games nearby. The course has statues and obstacles designed like Freedom Trail stops and has signs with some history lessons on them. Pretty cool for the kids. The bad news is that the statues and obstacles look like they are from the 1970s and they are falling apart and in need of serious upgrades. There is even some small buildings along the course that look cool but again need help. Not a bad place to stop on a summer night. They even have a bug fogger. read more

Very cute golf course littered with Massachusetts history trivia. Pretty small but a fun area for a first date or taking the young ones. Nothing inherently bad about it, just not very lively or big. A great plus is that their booklet to keep score offers 10 free tickets to fun and games. The 18th hole offers free laser tag at fun and games if you get a hole in one! read more

Sometimes I like going to places where you feel kind of silly for being there...this mini golf course if that kind of place. Granted adults playing mini golf without children present might be weird from the get go, but I love mini golf. The course is small scale with local history mixed in at every hole (Paul Revere's house, pilgrims, etc.). It wasn't very crowded so we didn't feel rushed which was nice. However as we neared the last hole, the girl at the ticket booth sarcastically said to me "Wow, you look really happy to be here". I was waiting to take my turn and was just looking straight ahead, maybe I was squinting because of the sun...I dunno. Still I thought it was weird for her to yell it out loud to me. Once was enough, I like the mini golf courses at Kimball's farm way better. read more

Loved the New England theme of this well maintained course. It's not super challenging, but we enjoyed the unique obstacles. A great place for families given the theme and course difficulty. We practically had the course to ourselves on a Thursday night at 7. They have a small arcade and an adjacent laser tag arena. Good times! read more

I went here the other day with my son and was pleasantly surprised. I knew there was a mini golf place tucked in there but never went until this week. I was in the tile store and saw it but never checked it out. This place is a hidden gem! If I had people in from out of town, I would totally take them here. As stated in other reviews, each one of the 18 holes has a historical theme from Boston's history. There are replicas of Faneuil Hall, the state house, old North Church, etc. Other reviews mentioned that it was run down but they must have refreshed it because it was in great shape when we went. It is good to know it is there because we live fairly close. My 7 year old read every plaque that had a historical fact on it...good to know that there are interesting things beyond an iPad screen! read more

We had a good time playing min-golf here. The price was right ($6 per person) and we enjoyed the historical theme. No moving obstacles, but you get to hit it through Old North Church and Faneul Hall and the like. Definitely enough obstacles to make it fun and we learned a few things along the way, too! This is a good time. Each hole is a little different. They have ice cream and drinks for sale too as well as complimentary sunscreen and bug spray. There is a cool feature about panning for rocks (for a fee)-not sure if that is actually a thing because I've never seen anyone do it but if I had small kids, I think that might be fun. Just....with the holes, you are not going to find anything modern like anything motorized or lit up, etc. It didn't really matter to us because the holes were challenging and fun enough based on how they were designed as is. read more

I love this place. I have been going there since I was a kid. Today I took my 7 year old there and we had his friend birthday party. They had an absolute blast. The birthday package deal was a well priced option. I would not recommend a party for 7 yr olds unless you have lots of parent support. Came here today with the 6 year old I was babysitting. The course was a blast! Every hole had a historical monument with a little sign, and there were even sound effects! Super simple course, well maintained though. However, the Indian statue is the only one in shackles (on his feet). The other statues are held up with wires...curious considering the others are "patriots". So I've completely written this course off due to the aforementioned reasons. This oversight was either an incesitive joke, which is not funny, or even more scary, ignorance. read more

This place used to be a little run down and shabby but they must have fixed it up. The holes are fun and nicely decorated. The Colonial theme is fun and the themed music adds an extra touch. The real grass around the holes is green and well kept and there are pretty flower baskets. Fun time out! read more

Perhaps our experience might have been more positive if we hadn't been eaten alive by mosquitoes. Perhaps we were simply put off by the rubber-headed clubs that caught too easily on the surprisingly thick carpet of the putting surface. It could have been that the holes were slightly unbalanced, or off-level. I think, perhaps, that Golf on the Village Green just has too many negatives stacked against it-we definitely have experienced much better elsewhere. read more

A very fair (and fun!) course. No silly water hazards that make you go fishing for your ball if you stray off the course and hold up everyone behind you. A good amount of holes with shade, and the course is for the most part kept up pretty darn well. I've been coming here for years, and I never get tired of the course. read more
