The office staff was very good at scheduling. It took a while to get the initial estimate because it was the busy season here in Florida for tree trimming. The staff was great at communication. You deal with the owner (John) who has a very good reputation in Naples among other landscape businesses. John explained what would be done and quoted a price. Since I have had this service done before I knew his price was competitive. The workers arrived on time and the work took several hours as we had discussed. The team brought out their own chipper and reduced the substantial trimmings quickly. Unlike previous trimmers, John's team did not "scalp" the tree. Instead they left an attractive amount of leaves. So the tree looked quite normal, just much smaller in size. This is much more difficult to do and takes longer so many trimmers simply scalp the tree and leave it at that. His workers also scurried up my 60 plus foot palm to quickly trim the seed pods and dead branches. Communication was excellent at all times. The cleanup left little trace they were ever here. There are a lot of trimmers in this area. I have had communication problems in the past with these other providers. Some may work for a few dollars less but there are MANY potential problems (licensing, equipment, no chipper, poor cleanup, etc.). Naples has very strict business licensing laws and their enforcement people are constantly driving around. Bobcat Tractor is fully licensed and insured. Install drainage berm, remove trees, install over 1,000 square feet of grass, scrape off horticulture debris from surface and haul off. He also spread gravel on a road in the back of my property. Provided liaison service between me and the county landscaping inspector regarding exotic vegetation removal. After attempting to find a company to install a drainage berm dictated by the county. I was unsuccessful and the few that provided an estimate were prohibitively expensive or had never done one before. But John from Bobcat Tractor Tree and Landscape took care of the entire operation from beginning to end. Bobcat is very methodical and at a reasonable price. John even linked me directly with a sod supplier because he thought I would get a better deal if I dealt with him directly. The estimate was right on. They cut down a huge oak. Killed the entire root system and replanted new tree with, no future root problems, which looks beautiful. They took care of notifying all the utilities. Put mulch around all areas and planted flowers. I would say without question there were on time, great crews and great owner. John Gursoy and his crew showed up at the time they said they would and they completed the task within a few hours. They put in underground piping to remove water from gathering around the house.
