Justin was very nice and personable. He had advice on hairstyling tips that no one else has offered me before. He did a great job of communicating what he was doing and why. If you're working towards a hairstyle, he's determined to get you where you want to be. The entire shop seems to truly care about their customers. I'd definitely recommend scheduling an appointment for their shop. Great quality of care and friendly staff all for a good price.

When you are waiting for a hair cut, it's like you're there at someone's house with the family all around. Everyone seems to know each other, and Anthony is like a father or teacher to a lot of the kids. He's always conversational and insightful! Let's not forget he cuts great hair. He is a master with fades and has done my pomp fade justice every time. He is very fairly priced for the area, about $27 for full men's hair cut. A clean up and shave/beard trim is only about $10 which is pretty nice if that's your style. Only downside is it gets BUSY sometimes. He's the man and he runs the shop. If there are 3 people ahead of you, it might take an hour to get to you. And the problem is you don't really know, with all the people just kind of hanging out, whether everyone is there to get their hair cut. It's kind of confusing, and sometimes you just have to ask people if they are there to get a haircut. Which is at times a bit awkward, though. You can make appointments online through a third-party site called mytime.com but it's extra $$ to do that (like $35 instead of $27 I believe). All in all, excellent barber and I'll certainly keep going.

Gave Nick's a try since my other barber was booked. I was not disappointed with the service. It is a small shop, only two chairs, and it was pretty hard to find because I drove past it without even knowing. Dave cut my hair and even though I was a few minutes late he did not rush through the cut. He seemed pretty focused on details and was very open to comments and my suggestions of "a little more here" and "a bit shorter there". I've honestly never felt that comfortable with a barber right off the bat. The phone did ring off the hook and since Dave was the only one in the shop we had to pause multiple times. He made sure everything was to my satisfaction. At the end of the cut, the finishing touches were the hot shaving cream for the back of the cut and a skin toner. For $18 a cut, I will definitely be going back.

This is Phil's shop. Not sure how long it's been around but I think a long time. I've been…read moregetting my hair cut here for about a year. Phil is really friendly and it's a great little shop. The barber's chair is an antique. He even shaves the back of your neck with hot foam and a straight razor after he's done. Nice little touch. The space is a little hidden above a Chinese restaurant. But just walk up the flight of stairs, turn right, and it's the first door. $16 for a trim. Little less for kids.
