He checked arrivals for other barbers, "I've got you next" ... I was out within 40 minutes, that time included the first customers time and cleanup before my cut! I am told this happens, partnerships change, better offers arise, whatever. My long-time barber, Lisa Dale at CJ's has relocated. Really, I have to report that they still cut great hair and I still recommend them, but for a truly fine haircut you gotta go see Lisa at Silver Scissors of Prescott. Yep, this is a hairdresser. They don't have Elvis on the walls and the selection of male-orientated magazines is on the thin side. It smells kinda like my Mom's perms, and they even have those old-time hairdryers that look somewhat like a mad scientists' brain-sucking device. What they do have is a real Barber. Lisa is still cutting guys' hair (and I mean real manly guys like cops and firefighters) and I have found no better in Prescott. I love layers but every cut gives me the dreaded "dog-ears" so I was ready to give up my layers and go for a single length, even though I know it won't bring out the best in my curls. I told Pam what I was looking for and she asked me if I was willing to be daring and go out of my comfort zone. Well, sure! Why not?
