Bob's came to the rescue of our marching band! Our competition schedule was drastically changed due to weather and we needed a way to feed 200 people during a bus ride. Bob's made 200 subs in a matter of hours for us. They saved the day! we use them every year for subs when we need a meal to go. I came here for the first time a couple days ago and the first thing I noticed was that their chicken was looking SO MUCH BETTER than any big grocery store I usually get my meats from. I got a boneless chicken breast and two sirloins for under $15! used the chicken for stir fry and it was so good! not gross at all with any of the pieces and I barely had to clean it up beforehand! I just got done cooking the sirloins and holy mother of god it was delicious! I accidentally overcooked it a little (still mad at myself) but it was still so tender, juicy, and carried the flavor so well! I didn't have to do any cleanup on those. I am INCREDIBLY impressed with this place and the men who serviced me were very kind in letting me look around before I made a decision. Service, quality, and price are all too good to be true and this is my new favorite place for all my meat needs! I stopped buying beef and pork from Meijer about 3 years ago and instead get my meat from Bob's. You can so taste the difference! I go once or twice a month and stock my freezer. Each week in the Advance newspaper Bob's runs an ad with their weekly specials, and when the the regular ground beef (makes the best burgers) sizzlers & steaks are on special I stock up. I also like their center cut pork chops and the chicken breasts are not like the ones you see in Meijer--they are huge, tender & delicious and one can feed two people. The staff behind the counter are always courteous and helpful and will give you suggestions how to cook a certain cut of meat if you ask. They carry chicken, beef and pork and have a deli counter too w/ lunchmeat & cheeses. You can also pick up seasonings and other staples like potatoes, rice, etc. Bob's also lets you order meat for special occasions like hams or beef tenderloin and just tell them when you'd like to pick it up. The service here is great, and like I said earlier, you can really taste the difference--no more stringy hamburger! read more

Great butcher shop. Fresh selection, good prices, great specials, awesome deli counter! $2 lunch with fresh cold cuts, cheese on a soft hoagie roll...yes please. The only reason its not a 5 star is because they don't offer a whole lot of local or organic meat choices. Come here for meat! read more

Butcher shops seem few and far between these days and I am absolutely spoiled by this place. The prices are very reasonable and Bob has a great staff (including his own children and I've even seen his father working there when it was really busy). You cannot go wrong with this place. My husband loves his brats and breakfast sausage and his shish-kabobs (meat and chicken) are awesome. They have the best chicken breasts, too, they are huge.
