Owner decently friendly, seems like a genuine guy. EDIT: after washing my car after the detail, I noticed the scratches I asked him to remove had no difference in them. He told me some scratches were deep and needed more than a 1-step paint correction process, which I completely understood, but the car scratches had no change at all in them. First, when I found this company on Yelp, I was impressed by the reviews. Being a business owner myself, I know that you can't have that many 5 star reviews without them being realistic. I contacted the phone number and heard back within an hour. They squeezed me in the next morning. Second, I was taking my in-laws car into be detailed. They are older and have difficulty caring for themselves or their belongings. When we climbed in the car to drive them to appointments it was simply disgusting. It was filled with trash - empty and used fast food "stuff" as well as traces of their 2 dogs. There was so much in the vehicle that people hardly fit. It was so unfortunate because the little SUV is rather new and has such low miles, but it was terrible. Upon returning, despite the cars initial condition, it was simply amazing and a brand new vehicle. I wasn't charged any more then I was originally quoted and the team was kind and polite. I am not from the area but scheduled my own car for a detail when I'm back in town this week. I definitely recommend Detail for Less! read more

Drove in Pismo dunes and racked up all kinds of sand mud tar you name it. Showed up without an appointment and the owner Temo was amazing. Take a few minutes and looked at my truck, told me he get the job done. All hands on deck four or five employees converged on the vehicle and did an amazing detail. I'm fairly certain they don't always have time for an unscheduled drive up, and I'm pretty sure they didn't have time for me, however they got it done and did a great job too. You might get a little confused when you try to drop your car off, but I assure you, these guys are goated. I've had them work on 3 cars myself (ranging from exceptional to baaaad outer paint) and varying (yeah I chose that word because well, you'll see) inside conditions. MAN, do they do a good job with coffee spills ,oopsies by your friends (thanks for not drinking water and downing pint after pint) and a car that hasn't been detailed maybe since it was driven off the dealership lot. Hands down fantastic. My first time I couldn't drop the car off at the shop and the owner came thru, grabbed it, cleaned it and dropped off, what a BOSSMAN. I should also added this cleaning also had engine bay cleaning, probably ended up looking like back when the engine maker put it in himself (hand built). I should also add they stay ready, I've done same day, different day, same half day, same hour (nah, that's wild) and they still managed to accommodate me. Btw, the BOSSMAN does work for dealerships around town so you can FORGET about AMATEUR HOUR with water swirls, wet drops whatever it is. read more

Brought my car in for a mold remediation service due to moisture issues brought on by the recent storm. I was quoted (and paid) $300 and even issued a guarantee that the mold was fully removed; this cost was got the full interior of the vehicle. Upon payment, I inspected the vehicle and found that the job was not actually completed; two areas of the trunk were still soaking wet and mold. When I brought the vehicle back, they claimed that it was not part of the job (despite their own admission that they had worked in the trunk area). I am currently working to remove the CD changer (which is located in the trunk of my car) because they refused to continue the job otherwise unless I agreed that they are not liable for damages should they break it. Given their misrepresentation of the work I was paying for, I could never recommend this business and strongly suggest anyone considering looks elsewhere. Update 1: Upon removing the changer and showing them the issues with the job as "completed", they agreed to hold onto the vehicle and finish it to the standard they initially represented. Will update again upon their notice of completion. Update 2: Job was completed as expected in the first place. While the team here did do a great job, the experience I had with them regarding the missed trunk areas has left a sour taste and I will be unlikely to come back- YMMV. read more

I am selling my old beat up Mazda 6 and needed to get the interior detailed. Being that I am unfamiliar with the area and don't know many people, I literally googled "cheap auto detailing" and this popped up. He gave me a quote of $135 dollars on the phone for full interior detailing - seat shampooing, the whole deal. I called in the morning and he said he would be able to squeeze me in at 2 to be done by 5! I was about 20 minutes late getting off work to bring the car, but he looked at my car, gave me the same estimate he had stated on the phone, and at 4:30pm my car was finished. The timing alone was worth it, but my car has seriously never looked cleaner. My light colored seats would get stained so easily and they got all the stains out! She looks brand new.
