The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...

I cannot say enough good things about the expertise and quality of the work completed by Scott and…read morehis crew. They understood our needs and preformed the work with care and diligence. They were a real pleasure to have working at our home. It is so nice to work with a company that cares about the work they do and show up and complete the work as we had discussed. They were problem solvers as our needs were out of the ordinary. Scott also handled all the permitting and inspections that went with the work, and as expected we passed with not issues. I only wish all contractors had his same integrity and work ethic. I highly recommend Extra Mile for your projects.

Several of the electricians we tried didn't even return our calls. Scott was busy as well of course, but he has great time management skills and electrical skills! He returned the call and set the expectations that we had a wait but when the time got closer, he set a day/time and we met him and his employee Eric, who then were on time and both were friendly, reliable and professional! During the job he needed a few parts, they even had a part runner dude who was quick and on point, appreciated his hustle as well, since time is $. During the work the space was kept tidy clean and all looks sharp. Scott also took care of hiring and lining up the proper inspections afterwards, which of course passed with flying colors as all was very professionally completed. So yes, It's worth a slight wait to get on the calendar as you'll find contractors and electricians are all so busy in this area, you just need some patience and then you'll have your work done by the pros who really do go the extra mile, hehe!

He took the time to listen to what I was seeing instead of jumping to conclusions. Then he went through the outlets one by one and did a pretty thorough check. What stood out was how quickly he was able to find the actual problem--it didn't feel like guesswork. After fixing it, he tested everything again to make sure all the outlets were working properly. That extra step mattered to me because it showed he wasn't just trying to do a quick fix and leave. He also gave some practical advice on a few devices in the house that weren't really useful and what could replace them. I asked him about EV charging, and he walked me through different options, including cost and tradeoffs, in a way that was easy to understand. Overall, he knows what he's doing, communicates well, and seems honest. I'd call him again.

I did a Yelp search and found Washington Electricians rated very high so I reached out to them. Moath quickly responded within 20 minutes and we were able to schedule the inspection and repair a couple days later. Moath was kind enough to give me an ETA before he arrived. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue: we accidentally overloaded and partially melted some wires upstream since we had two space heaters on the same circuit, but the breaker didn't trip because it didn't exceed the amp rating. He repaired the wires and replaced the outlet. He also inspected and repaired a few other outlets we had concerns with, including one outdoors. He also gave me suggestions on space heaters and how we can avoid this problem in the future. Moath finished the job in under an hour. With all the outlets that Moath inspected and repaired, I thought the repair fee was reasonable, especially since it seemed to avoid any unneeded or excessive repairs. I appreciated how prompt Moath was, his transparency, and how he was very clearly able to articulate what the issue was and what repairs were needed.
