Synonymous with the Gateway Arch! While we stopped just to see the arch, we did not go up. We had too much going on to stop here. Try parking a sixteen wheeler and finding clearance in the downtown area. Impossible. And cannot be stopped, so we got out for a while and took in our memories the arch from away. The significance of this state can be found in every aspect of the state. This was a place where the Civil War was fought. Many places where men fought brother to brother and bleed for whatever reason. The trees and bushes of the area cover the ground and land . They have grown over the indifferences of the past. The rains wash away the pain of the past and leave the present beauty with the hope that we will have strong bonds of love and peace. The individuals of this state are nice to a fault, but deep indifferences still plague their area and lives. We need to build our communities strong. Hand in hand with remedial love and kindness. In the end, we need to make love the reason. The beauty of the Midwest starts here. As we drive through we see the world green all around us. Welcome one another with love and happiness. The rest is easy. Learn from the strife of the past and come to together in terms that we can all relate and understand.

First a few facts: Missouri is a state in the Midwestern region of the United States. Missouri…read moreranks 21st in land area, it is bordered by eight states (tied for the most with Tennessee): Iowa to the north, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee to the east, Arkansas to the south and Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska to the west. In the south are the Ozarks, a forested highland, providing timber, minerals, and recreation. The Missouri River flows through the center and into the Mississippi River, which makes up the eastern border. Missouri has six million residents, and is the 19th-most populous state of the country. The largest urban areas are St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, and Columbia with the capital being Jefferson City. When I visited my friend in Missouri she lived in St. Louis so I spent a few days. She has since moved away from her home state of Missouri and lives in Kentucky. That's another State I'm familiar with visiting and living there. I always think first of the Gateway Arch. My daughter went up in the arch but I passed. I really enjoyed spending time in St Louis as there's so much history in midwestern states. There's states I still want to visit so I doubt I'll return. I will treasure my memories and I suggest you visit St. Louis when you plan a vacation. You can drive around and get to the other states nearby if you're trying to keep a record of all the states you visited!

Meg behind the bar was amazing and quickly took my drink and food orders, giving me recommendations. I enjoyed a couple local beers as well as the combination salad, but the real winner here was the clam Bisque which was loaded with mushrooms. Portions were very large. Conversation at the bar with the locals was awesome, would definitely come back for some great food, drink, and company.

And I loved the cranberry pecan salad we had as a starter, which made me really hopeful for the meal itself. But beyond that our experience was so disappointing. We got the lobster ravioli and the zesty pasta. I appreciated the ample veggies included with my meal, but the food was overall so bland I could have made it better at home, and that is saying something. The ambiance wasn't great, and I was overheated the entire time, to the point I was eager to leave just because it was so hot. I like to take my time with a meal, and it's a bad sign if I want to rush out of there. We probably would have stayed for more drinks but like I say, we were simply eager to leave. We wont be back unfortunately.
