It's an actual thing here in Cuba, Missouri. The "second" largest rocker in the world. The real questions that this brings up is "which is the largest?" On your journey on Route 66, you'll be encountering this mahogany red rocker located next to a small souvenir shop that no longer seems to be in operation. The rocker is definitely large and intimidating in size, and folks can climb on it to take some amusing photos as part of their road trip. Aside from a closed shop and some murals, there really isn't much else going on at the World's Second Largest Rocker. Snap some shots to share with your friends and family, and then be on your merry way to the rest of your journey. Admission is free because it's literally sitting outside waiting for a giant baby to come and use its wooden mechanics.

we love it when we traveled this month on old Rt 66. It is an amazing chair and general store.

Always a great time stopping in the outpost! That rocking chair is just the start! Check out the inside for yummy popcorn and over 400 glass bottle sodas.

We specifically plotted this route on our GPS so that we could pass thru this cool outdoor museum-like area. To sum it up, it was a pretty interesting stop on the way. It was a bit off the beaten path as we had to traverse thru some very quiet areas and creeks, but this very unique outdoor gas station memorabilia museum exists in the middle of nowhere. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth taking a few photographs as you make your way thru Route 66. There were hundreds of pieces of vintage gas station memorabilia on display and no one in the vicinity when we made our stop so we had the whole area to ourselves. There were a few cars that passed by, but all of them just drove by. It makes for a nice 15-minute break from a long drive as it is a great chance to get out to stretch and take a few photos.

I'm a HUGE fan of all things vintage, so seeing the antique cars an sign along Route 66 sparked my curiosity. We got off the nearest exit, took some back roads, and finally arrived to the Mecca of all things Vintage - Bob's! Located in a quiet, remote area of Missouri, my friends and I had no idea what to expect from this adventure. A friendly man greeted us as we snapped photos, who turned out to be Bob himself. We took some photos of all the vintage memorabilia outside - then made our way inside a restaurant - which turned out to be a catering service of sorts. We were greeted by a woman who seemed to be setting up for an upcoming event. She was very welcoming, told us to come inside and take all the pictures we wanted. She even showed us the stairway that led up to the top floor. VERY cool place!! After taking photos in the catering area, Bob gave us a tour of the land. We checked out different sheds and spaces that contained a ton of hoarded vintage collectibles. Bob was kind enough to allow us to browse around and take photos while he waited for us outside in the heat (poor guy). Not gonna lie - I actually thought we might get murdered for about 3 minutes. The place, while very interesting and unique, had a strange eery vibe about it. We walked out alive (obvs), but I was pretty vocal to my friends about the possibility and we enjoyed a few laughs thanks to it. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who loves old school American nostalgia. Bob's will definitely be the place for you.

Synonymous with the Gateway Arch! While we stopped just to see the arch, we did not go up. We had too much going on to stop here. Try parking a sixteen wheeler and finding clearance in the downtown area. Impossible. And cannot be stopped, so we got out for a while and took in our memories the arch from away. The significance of this state can be found in every aspect of the state. This was a place where the Civil War was fought. Many places where men fought brother to brother and bleed for whatever reason. The trees and bushes of the area cover the ground and land . They have grown over the indifferences of the past. The rains wash away the pain of the past and leave the present beauty with the hope that we will have strong bonds of love and peace. The individuals of this state are nice to a fault, but deep indifferences still plague their area and lives. We need to build our communities strong. Hand in hand with remedial love and kindness. In the end, we need to make love the reason. The beauty of the Midwest starts here. As we drive through we see the world green all around us. Welcome one another with love and happiness. The Missouri River flows through the center and into the Mississippi River, which makes up the eastern border. Missouri has six million residents, and is the 19th-most populous state of the country. She has since moved away from her home state of Missouri and lives in Kentucky. That's another State I'm familiar with visiting and living there. I always think first of the Gateway Arch. My daughter went up in the arch but I passed. I really enjoyed spending time in St Louis as there's so much history in midwestern states. There's states I still want to visit so I doubt I'll return. I will treasure my memories and I suggest you visit St. Louis when you plan a vacation. You can drive around and get to the other states nearby if you're trying to keep a record of all the states you visited!

And I loved the cranberry pecan salad we had as a starter, which made me really hopeful for the meal itself. But beyond that our experience was so disappointing. We got the lobster ravioli and the zesty pasta. I appreciated the ample veggies included with my meal, but the food was overall so bland I could have made it better at home, and that is saying something. The ambiance wasn't great, and I was overheated the entire time, to the point I was eager to leave just because it was so hot. I like to take my time with a meal, and it's a bad sign if I want to rush out of there. We probably would have stayed for more drinks but like I say, we were simply eager to leave.
