Sure, the dj is probably playing music off of a pre-mixed tape or even just the song of an artist that isn't even mixed. Our friends from the area were showing us the different bars when the girls from California (guilty as charged) asked them to find a club with dancing. Was the location and atmospheres 4 stars? Maybe not but it was so much fun! Get a couple of drinks in your system and just shake off the "i'm scared people will judge me " vibes! I don't think there was a cover for the girls and the songs they played were all songs that I could dance too. On our last night in Idaho, we actually wanted to come back and just have fun one last time but it was closed.

Wasting my time writing this review, but I want the owners to know: the venue is a goldmine, but…read moreyou are truly missing an opportunity to be a great place. The main problem is that your DJ on Saturday night is NOT A DJ!!! HE SUCKS EVERY TIME... NOT JUST A LITTLE... HE SUCKS HARDCORE!!! The proof is when the place is packed and yet, NO ONE is on the dance floor! GET A REAL DJ, not someone who who plays the same thing week in and week out and can't keep people on the dance floor! The other issue is that the carpets are sticky and nasty. Nobody wants to feel their shoes sticking to the carpet! Back in the day this was the place to be. Now it's just sad.

Wedding Event: July 11, 2021…read more 1) My daughter's wedding would have been perfect if only this Center hired respectable people. The fellow that was left to coordinate the evening event was unprofessional and a sicko. Extremely inappropriate with wedding guests and their children. It was disturbing to watch!!! He was relentless and continued his inappropriate behavior throughout the entire evening. (He would follow children and would kneel and would pursue to dance with children. He tried to do the same with adult women that are my nieces.) Whoever is in charge of hiring they need to look into background and references. This unprofessional man has no place where families and their children are trying to celebrate a couples love story. 2) The AC wasn't working properly since the very beginning. And it finally stopped working an hour after guest started to arrive. It got extremely HOT and we had no choice but to open one of the glass doors since the other one couldn't be opened since it was broken. 3) We ran out of soap in ladies bathroom, only one dispenser had soap at the beginning and it was out by the middle of the event. 4) Your FLOORS were DISGUSTING. There is no EXCUSE for so much wrong to happen in an event center. The couple should get a FULL REFUND immediately. What was supposed to be the best experience in their life, you have helped to stain it with this memories. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DEC!!!!!!!!

By the time I finally walked in, I was physically and emotionally drained. I was apologizing for being late and honestly worried about whether I would still have a place to stay. I had called and left messages because everything felt so uncertain. But the moment I arrived, the two people at the front desk made all the difference. They immediately engaged with me, listened, understood what I had been through, and even shared a few stories about other airport experiences. After the stress of the previous days, that kind of welcome meant more than they probably realized. They are always friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. They even had a fun Pajama Friday, which I thought was awesome. Because of that experience, I will absolutely be staying with them each time I am in town. Sometimes it really is the little things that matter most.

From the outside, the Candlewood looked kind of old but the inside was really nice. I guess there was a remodel not too long ago. Our room was in the front of the motel and the snake river is behind it. Didn't know that till we were leaving. Our room was really clean lots of room to spread out. I feel bad we got there late and left early so I didn't get to look around and take pictures of this hotel. But when I left, I did see the free coffee. Thank you.

Okay - as mentioned in my previous reviews, I love to golf and try different courses throughout the…read morecountry when just a short drive away. Staying in Idaho Falls for a small wedding, my parents, husband and I decided to spend a morning on the golf course before heading into the festivities. Sand Creek was the course of choice, thanks Dad!, and proved to be pretty much meh. COURSE: Located in literally the middle of nowhere, we found ourselves lost in just getting to the course. Despite using our phone for directions, google easily rerouted us to the country club, which was not our destination and only added to the frustration in attempting to find the course, and get there in a timely fashion. After doing some map digging, we spotted the course and headed that way! The course itself is nice, well taken care of and provides a variety of greens to challenge all skill levels! SERVICE: Upon arrival, there was no one to be found. The pro shop window was closed, the bar/restaurant was not open and not a soul in sight. We ended up spotting a woman carrying ice into the restaurant area and inquired with her before she waved down her boss to check us in and provide us with golf carts. She was friendly, but seemed annoyed that we interrupted her set up process. After using the bathroom, we opted for breakfast drinks on the course to loosen the mood, but she was unable to provide us with any hard alcohol, stupid Idaho drinking laws! However, she was generous enough to mix up a few drinks for us, and allow us to "start a tab" and pay after our round! Food is also offered, via order at the counter or call from any spot on the golf course for delivery or pick up once finished! The pro shop attendant was nice, allowed us to start at any time (regardless of our scheduled tee time) and made for quick but friendly interaction. Just a note: Masks are NOT required/were not required in this county when we played our round (early September) which made for a little bit of an uncomfortable experience. Being from Denver, where our restrictions are much harsher, I was surprised to see no one wearing masks, keeping socially distant or providing additional cleaning supplies. However, keep an eye out in the bar area, the sweet bartender makes and sells her own mask creations! Although, we had a fun experience, I'd easily choose another Idaho Falls course over this one next time

I'll preface this with I'm horrible at golf and play maybe twice a year. I'm not well versed in…read moregolf courses, i've only played on a half dozen or so. Golf Shop- good I guess, the employees there are very nice and they seem to have lots of golf equipment. Course- It was the first really nice day of the season and the place was packed. We got on in a relatively brief amount of time, maybe 10-15 mins. The course itself is challenging and for the fact we are just starting April it is pretty green. Golf Patrons- Once again I suck at golf, I realize this and won't spend 20 minutes trying to find a ball when there is a line of golfers waiting to tee up. If people had some basic common courtesy it wouldn't have taken us 4.5 hours to golf 9 holes. Also, if you have a child golfing with you, don't let them go 30 over par on every hole. This is another reasons why there should be some sort of golf etiquette class/agreement before you start golfing. IN CONCLUSION: I really enjoyed this golf course minus the horrible (and I mean horrible at life, not horrible at golf) people in front of us.
