When the appointment started my consultant asked the usual questions, but it went downhill fast. After explaining what I did/didn't like, she pulled several dresses to start and we narrowed down what the next round of dresses should/shouldn't have. She then continually pulled styles that were very similar to the ones I said I didn't like. When we asked if there were other options in the store that matched what I was looking for, I was told there was "nothing else," which felt dismissive. At that point when my consultant said there was nothing else in the store, I'd tried on 5 dresses. For a store that promotes itself as size-inclusive, I was really uncomfortable with how I was treated. I was repeatedly squeezed into dresses that didn't fit properly, to the point where I could barely breathe in some due to improper clipping/zipping. At one point, the clips in the back popped open and the metal snapped against my back, which was both painful and embarrassing. There was one dress I liked but didn't love, and instead of continuing to explore other options the consultant kept pushing me to purchase it. She focused on how it could be customized, even though the things I didn't like weren't minor fixed... they were fundamental elements of the dress. Throughout the appointment, she kept checking her phone and commenting on the time, which made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. To top it off, I had clearly stated my budget, yet she pulled a dress that was nearly $1,000 over. Her response was a casual "haha whoops," which felt unprofessional and dismissive. Overall, I felt rushed and uncomfortable. Definitely not what you hope for when shopping for something as big as your wedding dress. In good conscience I cannot recommend this bridal salon

The day of my wedding dress appointment, I was told the $3000 dress I was purchasing was 100% silk,…read morewhich was an important factor in choosing my gown. SEVEN MONTHS LATER (the dress came in a month late) I picked it up, paid the balance, and brought it to my seamstress. (Lastrina does not do alterations, nor are they included in the price). When I tried the dress on again that same day I picked it up, I realized the fabric label said "100% polyester". I contacted the owner of the bridal salon immediately, and she said there was nothing she could do. The owner told me that her salesperson NEVER would have told me it was silk. I told the owner that polyester makes me itchy and she responded saying that "the majority of your wardrobe consists of polyester." She also said that because the dress is a high quality polyester I "don't have anything to worry about." (I'd like to make it known that I do not know this woman and she does not know me.)
