They checked the alignment after performing a courtesy inspection of the suspension system and informed her all was good. They are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. Very high reviews and can see why.

The guy who was going to repair the key ignition, called me if I would like to get a used part instead of a new one and I totally agreed because the cost was much less than the new one. The mechanics were excellent at that time. However, something happened a few years ago as the people changed. Prices went up quickly and it made me feel the recent change of employees was the issue. The last time I went there, I had an oil leak - after the oil change. I told them about it, had to take it back and they said it was not an oil leak and all they had to do was tighten up the lid. However, when I took my car to another auto shop to clean the headlights, they found an oil leak. They fixed it and did it the right way. This particular incident made it clear to me that Yost had no intention of fixing my vehicle correctly. That made me very angry as I spent thousands of dollars in the past. I have stopped going there. I would never recommend their services to anyone.

UPDATE 11/18/25: After my original review, the new owner, Mher, reached out to me personally in…read moreexactly the thoughtful and respectful way he described in his response. He was kind, genuinely apologetic, and took full responsibility for what happened. He also mailed me a check covering half the cost of a full set of replacement tires I purchased elsewhere, which I truly appreciated. During our conversation, he explained that since my 10/16/25 service, they've implemented a completely new system for managing service tickets. Instead of different mechanics handling different tasks on the same car, one technician is now assigned to oversee the entire job from start to finish, including quality control and final sign-off. That change directly addresses the issue that led to my situation, and I'm glad to hear they're taking it seriously. My original experience was upsetting and created real safety risks while I was traveling alone, and I stand by how important it is for shops to be vigilant--especially with something as critical as tires. But I also want to acknowledge when a business steps up. The owner's follow-through, professionalism, and commitment to improving their processes made a difference, and I appreciate the effort to make things right. I hope the new systems and leadership bring this location back in line with the honesty and integrity the Christian Brothers brand is known for. In October 2025, Christian Brothers East charged me over $1,000 for a full 4-tire replacement--but never actually replaced my tires. They kept my car all day, told me everything was done, and sent me on my way. I discovered I didn't have new tires after all two days later, 750 miles away when my tire pressure light came on during a solo road trip. A Firestone mechanic confirmed my tires were old and called the CBE manager, who refunded everything (including an inexpensive filter charge). I appreciate the refund, but this created serious safety risks and stress--especially since I was a woman traveling alone through remote areas. FYI, this location is under new ownership and feels disorganized and poorly supervised. It's disappointing, given that the Christian Brothers brand emphasizes Christian values, honesty and integrity. So disappointing. My past experiences with Christian Brothers WEST were excellent, but this East shop is not living up to the brand's values. Verify your service carefully before leaving this location.

Tldr; I needed help with a hardstart/idle issue and was charged $100 for a Quick OBD II scan…read more(which I didn't need), a car start, and an oil check. Will not use, nor recommend these guys. I have a car that has a hardstart/idle issue. After spending a lot of time and effort trying to solve it myself and failing, I decided I needed help from someone with more than the meager knowledge I have; so I took it to Automotive Diagnostic Center to have them find the problem. I made sure that I provided them, both in written and verbal form, a comprehensive description of the problem and the actions that I had taken to try to solve it so that they would have a good starting point. I received a call from them saying that the oil needed changed and I could come pay the diagnostic fee, $100, and pick up my car, or they could change the oil, $60, but they couldn't proceed with the diagnosis until the oil had been changed. To be clear, I am not complaining that they said the oil needed changed because, it did. I'm not even complaining about the cost they quoted me for the oil change; $60 is reasonable, a bit steep, but not horrible. My problem is, they charged me $100 to do a surface scan with an OBD II, start the car and check the oil. I'm sorry, but, can you not see the issue here, ADC? This is the kind of stuff that so many shops pull that make people distrust and dislike you. For $100, you could have done any number of things (all things that I don't have the tools to do nor the knowledge to know what to look for and why I took to someone who should): * Compression test * Blow by test * Intake manifold vacuum test * Fuel pressure test * Check the spark plugs * Use a fancier OBD II to do a more in depth diagnosis to see what each of the components are actually doing to see if one is just barely working or acting in a way that indicates a short or bad wire/connection. Those are just some examples off the top of my head. I'm sure that other things could have been done. What you did do, I could have done, and had done myself and would not have brought it to you had that been what needed to be done.

Again I was not disappointed. Tommy Chou the manager was quick to know what was wrong, had the service done by the next day. This was a mobility van and he knew I had to have it available as soon as possible. Hats off of course to the mechanics: it runs great now. I trust them.
