I had one of the ham sandwiches (boca jamon iberico), and it was actually quite good! The ham was a…read morebit fatty, and they cut them up into these thin slices, but each bit even with the thin pieces of ham, was really rich because of the combination of the fattiness and strong flavor of the ham. This was one of those cases where a little bit really did go a long way. Overall a surprising find and if I lived in Toledo, I wouldn't mind dropping by here in the morning to get a sandwich and go.

It has a huuuuge selection of jamon (vacuum packed, freshly sliced, if you're up for an entire leg you can do that too) and you can also buy sandwiches here. My sister and I dropped into this shop in the afternoon to pick up some jamon iberico de bellota (acorn) after hearing so many good things about it. There was definitely a language barrier between us and the shop keeper but they were able to help us find what we wanted. We originally just wanted to get a few hand cut slices on the spot but we wound up getting the vacuum sealed kind to take back to our hotel to eat. Let me tell ya something- jamon iberico de bellota is the absolute bee's knees. Even my sister who isn't usually into cured meats was super into it. There's something about the flavor and the depth that is amazing. I highly recommend getting a pack to try out! Overall, I highly recommend coming by this store to check it out! It was a tad warm in there when we went inside so it smelled kind of odd but just look/buy from the refrigerated sections lol

Got here a bit before 7pm (early for Spanish dinner) and grabbed one of the many available outdoor…read moretables, Our server pointed out that some of the menu wasn't available until after 7pm. We ordered drinks. I tried their sangria which was very good. We ordered two of their famous bombas. A potato fried on the outside and hollowed out and filled with spicy meat and potato. It was excellent. I called it a Spanish sloppy Joe! Once we finished those it was past seven so we ordered the grill pork ribs which were meaty and good. The prices were reasonable and our server was really hustling. By the time we left around 8pm there was a line formed waiting for a table. At that point the service did seem to be getting chaotic...

We got the patatas bravas, croqueton de gambas, and bomba trébol as well. Everything was really yummy and we enjoyed it all. I loved how varied the options were too. A drawback is that they only had one heater for an area that fit about 10-12 tables so it was quite chilly and our first waiter didn't pay attention to us so we waited a while to wait. However, the young waiter who stepped in was great and made up for it.

This is not worth the wait or calories that will be consumed. One worded descriptions: The food- DISGUSTING Their favorite color of every dish- BROWN Service- RUDE More in-depth description: I hate wasting food but I couldn't finish even half of every plate I got. They start you off with bread on the table that looks fake. It's as hard as a brick and the inside of it was dense. The "paella" looked like leftovers, filled with chicken bones, seafood shells and rice. I wouldn't even call it paella but instead "flavored rice" I got the "pollo asada" but it was obviously not grilled. Thy tried covering it with some brown sauce. It was dry and tasteless. It came with potato wedges/French fries that were burnt to hell and tasted terrible (I love potatoes and fries but I couldn't do it) For dessert I got Flan... it wasn't smooth. It might as well have been a wet cake that tasted like there was something burning in the oven. Best part of the meal: Coca Cola and the whipped cream from the dessert (aka nothing made in the restaurant) This restaurant goes for quantity over quality. They try to serve many people but give crappy food. Their main revenue is from the tourist packages people buy.
