We often buy the kids lunch on the way back from shopping at the weekend, and the staff are friendly, quick and rarely make mistakes. They even helped us get a better deal (and thus spent LESS money) at the drive through once. They have the usual breakfast menu and burger menu, and do all the specials. They always give the kids different toys in their happy meals which is great and something the other branches dont think about.

He, his wife and children (toddlers at the time) were such wonderful people. No Chinese place in America (that I've had) can compare to Rising Star. So many times I have wished to travel back to the UK just for my favorite meal "Spiced Smoked Chicken". None of the Chinese people with restaurants , in any if the States I've lived in, have heard of it. I'm sure it's just as delicious as in 2000 so I give 5 STARS :-)

I ordered mozzarella sticks (we don't have that as an option back home), chicken selects and fries. For sauces I chose garlic mayo, sweet curry, and sweet chili. Everything was delicious. I also didn't feel gross or bloated after, which proves the difference in ingredients right away! The inside was very clean as well. Staff was friendly. McDonald's overseas just hits different!

Unfortunately for Tandoori Corner, they're located very close to Bunga Raya, my favourite Malaysian buffet restaurant. So, by the time I stagger out of Bunga Raya, I'm feeling far too full to even contemplate buying any more food. However, last Friday, my sister and I arrived at Bunga Raya to find that they were undergoing renovation, which presented the perfect chance for me to suggest getting a takeaway from Tandoori Corner. They have a wide range of meat and vegetarian curries as well as briyanis. There is also a selection of different rices and breads to accompany the curries. We had a meat bhuna and meat makhani with chicken briyani and some parathas. The taste of the curries lived up to the smells - lots of fresh spices, herbs and proper masalas had obviously gone into the making of these curries. What made it even more amazing was the price. Each meat curry was only £3.50 for a very big box of meat-heavy curry. I love it when a place lives up to all that mental promise that you put onto it!
