I was a bit disappointed to see fewer clothes on display than I expected, but I realized it was my misconception because when I mentioned the style of clothes I wanted to the staff, they brought them from the clothing racks at the back of the store. They showed me a variety of clothes and shoes tailored to my requests, and all the staff were friendly and always had a smile. I purchased a very charming pair of shoes, and my girlfriend gifted me a wonderful olive-colored bag for my birthday. I plan to continue consulting and purchasing clothes that fit my style regularly from John and Matthew, who I just met this time. They were kind and professional. However, I was met with a defiant attitude from the attendant, who barely looked at the item before telling me they couldn't do anything. She said I couldn't exchange it for anything else and would just have to keep it. The item was in perfect condition, with labels and the receipt intact, but their arbitrary return policy and poor customer service prevented me from receiving the basic service one would expect from a clothing store. It's unfortunate because the store is nicely curated, but such poor customer service and rigid policies definitely need improvement. Otherwise, they will continue to lose customers.

When I got there, they already built the board for me, and gave me all kinds of tips about boarding. They don't have a huge collection of Longboards - they are not a serious board shop - but they carry rather higher end stuff and the staff there is an experienced boarder who could answer all my questions. I definately want to visit them again when I need another board. Oh I should not forget to mention that they have an online shop for longboards and you can get 10% off when you visit the store!

Although they sell both men's and women's clothes, it seemed as though the men's side had a greater selection, and my husband tried on a few pairs of pants and shirts and bought one of each. What made this transaction exceptional: the service. Durrell was welcoming and helpful, explaining the different styles and then leaving us alone to try stuff on. DUER backs their pants with a one-year guarantee, so if, for example, the gusset tears, they will fix it. I've never heard of a brand standing behind their clothing to this extent, and it's great to see a company so confident of their quality that they can offer this kind of guarantee.
