This place is such a beautiful setup, artistic painting and sports memorabilia on the walls. As you enter you will find cherry blossoms hanging from the ceiling, I mean this ain't your average shoe store. It is actually pretty amazing in terms of esthetics. The shoe selection is vast, with mostly hard to find and unique shoes. The value is fair for these "hard to get" items. Now for the bad part. I'm not sure what i can say about the service that hasn't already been said. They have many workers and security guards on the floor. They will not acknowledge you, not smile, and not ask you if you need assistance. In fact they will even look at you with disgust for being in there space. I'm not sure how this business model works, but I would never spend money in this place no matter how bad I want the unique selection of shoes. This is one of the best-looking Shoe Palace branches I've ever been to. I really enjoyed walking in and seeing how the decor plays around at this spot. The fake sakura blossoms really highlight this location being in Little Tokyo. Even if I'm not buying any shoes, you would enjoy taking some photo ops over here because there's even a themed Michael Jordan wall/room with a comfortable lounge to sit at and take photos of. They also sell a lot of clothing and official sports merch hats. I was actually pretty close to buying some shoes but due to a limited time being here (parking here is either meter or garage, and are all timed), I couldn't wait more since the one guy actually working here was busy catering to a different group. Other staff members here didn't greet or would see you and walk away to do something else. Best Shoe Palace I visited. First time here at this location in Little Tokyo- been to LA so many times but able to explore this visit. Street parking, meters allow up to two hours- paid $2.50 went in the afternoon. Lots of traffic passing through- not in the best of neighborhoods- a lot of homeless walking around- stay vigilant and don't engage. Walk opposite direction if needed- Back to the store, looks like any store from the outside, but when u enter, the entrance display is Asian themed- video showing a dragon moving through Asian inspired flowers- looked dope. Nike display on left side, Adidas display on the right side. You have to walk towards the back to see a Jordan lounge 23 and wow, pictures don't do it justice! I'm such a shoe person that I couldn't stop taking pictures of it, my son and I agreed this was the best Shoe Palace we been too! We did not buy any sneakers but we were greeted when we walked in. Drove down here from the SGV to pick up a specific pair of shoes that another shoe palace said they had in stock. I called 4-5 times and no one answered, so I had to make the drive. I came in and asked for the specific shoe and was told it would be out on display if they had it, I mentioned driving over an hour to get here and she walked over to the back and came out a minute later and said nope. I first want to say I did an online order flashing across the screen if says "free delivery for orders over $150" i was charged $18.95 flat fee anyway. OK moving forward i placed my order 3/8 allowed a week before I started tracking my shipment no movement but they stated allow 3-5 business days. 1st time I called into was told part of my order was being delivered from another location thats why its taken a bit longer give it another day and the shipment info should update. Okay cool another 3 days passed I called again I was told its being packed I'll received an update by the end of the day. Still nothing the 3rd time I called I asked for a refund because now we're 2wks in I'm tired of hearing the scripted lies refund me my money. I was told that they couldnt due to the order was prepared to ship once received I can proceed with the refund if wanted. That day I received a shipment conformation but it still didnt move. Here we is today 3/21 and I still haven't received my order that was placed on 3/8. I will never order from this place again. I should jave learned my lesson when I ordered a hat online that was 19.99 but when I got it, it had 2 price tags on it that side 9.99 and a 50% off 4.99 tag. My time was WASTED !! On Monday March 4th, 2024, around 1:30 pm, I came in for a return, in which I had 3 pairs of shoes and 2 of them ended up not being from the store and the one that ended up being from the store , I was denied service ENTIRELY !! The employee that helped me out had a beard. I am truly disappointed in the lack of workmanship in this store , very unorganized and COMPLETELY RUDE! The blonde girl was flirting with a customer ? Very inappropriate and unprofessional, instead of flirting with customers she should've jumped into my situation and helped out. I've visited this location multiple times and have witnessed the same unprofessionalism. I will be taking my business elsewhere. This is a funny little store that can't decide if it's selling shoes or trendy sports apparel . Displays are eye catching, that's for sure. If you can imagine, there's even a Hello Kitty snack truck in the store selling snacks. If I had to rename this store, I'd call it Hello Kitty Shoe Palace as there was a significant amount of Hello Kitty merchandise within. When we walked in we weren't greeted by anyone so we wandered around looking at the shoes an sports apparel. I didn't even know that there was a Hello Kitty Cafe inside so the baby was super excited when she saw all the cute stuff. The boys said that they had a nice selection of shoes here compared to most Shoe Palace that they've been to so I guess that's a good thing. They have many selections of Hello Kitty clothing & shoes for kids as well. My daughter had a great time inside the Hello Kitty Cafe. It's a little pricey, but I guess when your baby really wants a $4 cookie and a $4 bottle of water, how can you say, "no"? The kids made me bring them back on the 28th before heading back to the Bay Area & my son decided to ask for his late Christmas present, which he had to work & pay off half of since it was more than what I was willing to give him. When the cashier rung it up, it came up $10 more than the price that was on the sticker, but the cashier said we had to pay the price that was on the computer. Was looking for shoes at Flight Club and Rif and then got tired of the $500+ prices. Decided to check out Shoe Palace next to Rif and was blown away. The store is awesome inside with great displays and seating areas and the sales staff was excellent. Everybody in a upbeat mood and happy to help you find a size. Eric helped us and he was incredible- he literally ran to the back to find shoes for us. If they didn't have a particular size, he still brought out a few other options in our size to try. We ended up getting a few pairs if shoes today. They were stylish and great for everyday use, but obviously not a designer Off White Jordan shoe or anything of that sort. The one thing that did stick out to me was when one associate said not to try on the display shoe. Be careful with your delivery because some people might not be too keen on that end and take it as an offense. I totally get it though. No sales associate should feel like it's a waste of time to let someone try a shoe on because everyone is a potential customer.
