It was a small group, so I was able to get all of my questions answered. The tasting was great too. It was a warm and relaxed vibe. There were very generous pours and the wine was solid. Mostly mixed. The vermut was definitely my favorite. To get there, I took the bus and then walked - I would not recommend that (30-40 mins in direct sunlight), however, would definitely recommend visiting if you have a car!

I went here when I got off my cruise boat. It's about a 5 min walk right when you are off the boat. Google has this as: Calle Andén de Poniente, 07701 Mahon, Balearic Islands, Spain. Also the hours are 11:30-1pm. Not sure how to get that fixed but I wanted to get that out of the way. That being said... This was easily my favorite burger place in Spain. You'll know you're at the right place when you see a bird on the side of the restaurant. Definitely felt a little hipster vibe from the decor here. It kinda reminded me of home. This definitely would be the kind of place I would go to in the Bay. Nothing super pricy but still really good food. Nice music and tasty drinks always help too! So when you go here you need to order the Paput Burger and the Pollo Pons. The burger had an assortment of flavors. I mean usually you got the saltiness of the hamburger patty with the freshness of the lettuce. But there was something about the Mahon cheese and the honey that really brought everything together. Its like they know I love buttery stuff. That's literally the kind flavor I was picking up when I bit in to that cheese. And to anyone that's worried that the burger will be too sweet, don't worry about it. They put the perfect amount on so that it doesn't clash with the other flavors. The Pollo Pons is a must too though. These are basically chicken tenders with a mango curry sauce which is to die for. I mean come on now man. CURRY. MANGO. SAUCE?! Like if you decide to order a different burger, you have to promise me you order these pons. They were so friggin good. We also ordered fries because potatoes. Am I right?

We had some free time before the next leg of our tour so we decided to have lunch here arriving around noon on a Friday. Fish market section (left side) has an abundant selection of fresh fish. On the right side, the interior is modern and inviting- they have a few Tapas spots with a dizzying amount of food. Further down there was a wine spot (Cas Torrat.) The walkway loops around and connects to the fresh fish area with outdoor seating in the middle. We got an assortment of Montaditos and Pinchos as well fried Anchovies and Cod Croquette from the first 2 spots (La Faim, Merca Apas). The displays were so enticing we had a hard time choosing and wanted it all! Our Tapas were all amazing! We sat inside as outdoor tables were all taken. They picked up really quickly and were packed by the time we finished around 1. When visiting Mahon, don't miss this gem of a Market that's been around since 1927!

There were cozy booths, a pin ball machine, reading material, and tvs. One of the nights we wandered in, there was quite a crowd to watch a soccer game so it seems like a pretty popular local hangout spot. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria and it was excellent and paired nicely with the weather and view. Bread with aioli was brought out as a starter which was a nice touch. We shared and enjoyed a Mixed salad. The star of the show was the Galacian Octopus. The Octupus was smoked and seasoned with Paprika placed over a bed of Confit potatoes. A local dish that was exquisite. We shared it and didn't want it to end. A must try and I'm craving it as I write this review! Service was upbeat and attentive. One of our servers took some time to tell us about the Octopus dish which was much appreciated. Amazing view with open air seating and don't miss the Galacian Octopus!
