I had scheduled an appointment a couple of weeks ago for 07:30 on 07/12/24. I showed up at 07:25…read moreand had been sent a text earlier asking that I check in using the text. I selected what I was told to and it took me to another check in which I selected. I went in and sat down waiting to be called. After I sat there 20 minutes I told one of the tec's when she came out to grab another person that I had checked in via my phone. She told me to go ahead and check in again using the kiosk as they were having problems with the text check-ins. I ended up waiting over 25 minutes for my scheduled appointment. When a different tech came out to get me she proceeded to tell me that I hadn't checked in until 07:42. I told her I had checked in at 07:25 on my phone, She didn't want to hear it and pretty much told me I was wrong that I needed to look at the TV screen to see if I did check-in. This is BS, I scheduled my appt, I was there 5 minutes early, I checked in using my phone and I was treated rudely. She also said they were behind. If appts are scheduled and you can see how many people will be coming for labs you need to be prepared with adequate staff! If I didn't dislike Mercy Medical Center so much I'd get my labs done there! Oh, and I was late to work to boot!
