What a welcoming, professional, and all around positive place to work out at! I feel INCREDIBLY…read morelucky to be able to work out and box at Title because Alex is such a knowledgeable and motivating coach/trainer. I am always getting a beast of a work out in during our sessions, and importantly I always feel safe while giving 100%. I love how I always end the session learning so much more about boxing, kickboxing, and getting the best exercise. I also really enjoy how the workout boosts my confidence and the vibes are always upbeat. You can feel upon arrival that this gym puts in a lot of energy, thoughtful education, and love into their establishment. Looking forward to adding on group classes to my workout regiment this month. They are so on top of all safety precautions and mandated protocols. Seriously so grateful to have them in our community! A must try work out at any fitness level!

Great place to go if you want to burn 500-1000 calories and have fun doing it! Been coming here…read moreabout a year with no regrets. There's a diverse set of trainers that offer classes of traditional boxing, kickboxing, and kettlebells with their own special twist. It can seem intimidating but it's a lot of heavy bag work that you can do at your own pace or comfort zone. Classes and people here are energetic and encouraging; you'll surpass your limits here! Here are some downsides that I hope they will improve on with expansion/growth of the business: 1) Having refreshments for sale 2) Small space- limited bag availability for crowded classes. You'll want to avoid taking bags near the pillars or mirror wall 3) They have free weights and a cable gym, not much more for other workouts 4) Very limited space for using the jump rope. You'll have to do it outside 5) No real changing room- just a bathroom.

Find tremendous benefits to their structured workouts that have made me stronger, leaner and more resilient. It's also an amazing way to deal with high level stress. All of the coaches current and former are all amazing... truly inspiring, dedicated and caring for everyone. They know when you are injured and give you modified exercises. They challenge you in a positive and respectful way. The owners Stephen and Sam truly care about your well being and the larger Rochester community with frequent donations, food drives and fundraising that goes beyond their gym. I've been a member of many many many many many gyms in my life but I say honestly and truthfully that this gym is my home.

My time at bee relentless boxing was good in terms of the actual program, but I can't shake the…read morefeeling of getting scammed. "Coach" Stephen comes off as decent person on the surface, but his true nature is more fraudulent than anything. I want to be clear this behavior isn't shared by the other coaches as well, but solely him. I was enticed to join the program through instagram, where they advertised a 6-week transformation program. When meeting in person, I was explicitly told that the program was worth over 1,000$ (which clearly isn't true), yet i was being offered the price of 600$ for the 6 weeks I would attend. The true pricing that they offer attendees is either 39-49$ a week, which means I was charged double than the highest rate they even offer regular people. If this could be done to me, this could also be done to other people and I hope my review prevents this from happening to other people. The worst part is that he sells it to you as if your interest is truly on his mind, when his entire objective is to sell you on a dream. The only difference between the 6 week program and the regular classes is that you meet biweekly with a coach and log meals onto an app they have you download in the beginning. There is no special treatment and they even limit the amount of classes you can do within the 6 weeks. The slimiest part about him is that he had the nerve to shake my hand and smile in my face like he didn't lie to me. He doesn't even teach any of the classes there, he's simply the owner of a business trying to capitalize on those looking to better their health. The overall environment of the classes is great, the other boxers are nice people and the legitimate coaches are actually trying to see you do better. I just wish that there was more transparency on the pricing because ultimately I was scammed. I want to be clear this review has nothing to do with the progress I made during the 6 weeks, but I want to be sure anybody attempting to attend these classes knows exactly what they are getting into so that they don't end up getting scammed the way I did. I hope "coach" Stephen gets everything he deserves moving forward.

Our gym closed last month... so we joined…read more First, the good points: large turf area with lots of functional fitness options (box jumps, battle ropes, tires, etc). Large free weight area with multiple squat racks. Cardio equipment on the 2nd floor as well as 4 indoor racquetball courts. Pool and hot tub are currently closed so can't speak on those. The bad: some equipment is showing age (the rowing machines as an example) and are not thoroughly cleaned. There is not a large staff to clean or monitor. Many gym members do not rerack their equipment properly or wipe equipment down. Part of the issue is minimal cleaning stations throughout the gym. Instead, there are spray bottles at the entrance for members to walk around with and use. This can be cumbersome. I'd prefer cleaning stations with wipes or spray bottles and paper towels centrally located. Locker room is decent. Haven't had to shower here but definitely bring shower shoes! If new to fitness or lifting, walk in with a plan. If you decide to go with one of their trainers, you do get locked into a contract so understand that going in.

Most recently they purchased a load of equipment from a gym that just closed up. This purchase added on some extra machines and also added some new exercises that weren't here previously. The gym atmosphere is like a family, everyone knows each other for the most part. You have some serious exercise people but also the average people looking to improve or keep their fitness levels up. They also have a tight knit group of martial arts instructors and students that take part in various events and activites either here or in the Northeast US. S&S has various memberships for all types (seniors, students, etc.). I love this place and as I have seen other places come and go in the area, S&S has been a rock for fitness needs in the area. Highly recommend this place.

I can appreciate a business that tries to reduce paper waste. Also, everywhere I went, I saw the lone staff member cleaning the equipment or area in some way. Kudos! The music is definitely better for working out than my usual gym, and there's enough equipment for everyone to get it in. Just enough benches, treadmills, cable machines, etc. But, I did not see any bikes. Perhaps they are utilized at their other location across the street for spin classes? The locker rooms are small, much makes sense because it's not a very busy gym in the first place. It seems like a lot of retirees and families work out here while the college students work out on campus nearby. I have no qualms with that. I spent about 2 hours in here and would definitely come back. This is a good place for first timers and routine lifters.

When I come home to visit family during the holidays, I'm able to sign up for a temporary membership to gain access. There's nothing fancy about this place but it more than meets most anyone's need for a place to keep active.
