I showed up today to this aventura location where I've been getting my treatments for about 5 years plus... and it looks like it's closed. No previous notice no email no call... my appointment was cancelled online and since then it says I cannot schedule any other appointments... I've tried to contact someone by calling.. emailing and social media but of course no one is returning my calls... during my scheduled treatment in November, one of the laser techs mentioned the company filed for bankruptcy and they closed the coral gables and Kendal offices... they said they think the aventura office is safe because they do Botox and a bunch of other stuff, but I guess not... if anyone could anyone provide me some information and let me know if any other location is open please do so.. it's sad that there are a hunch of other costumers that were conned by this company into buying additional treatments and now they're stuck with paying for services they will not receive.. it's shameful what body details has done! read more

Do not use this establishment! I started with Body Details in June 2021. I have received only one treatment since then.  My appointments were cancelled involuntarily several times without my consent right before my appointments were scheduled. When I called to reschedule, the only appointments available were several weeks after my original scheduled date. It transitioned into poor reliability by the office, my phone calls were not being answered.  I am a working mother and live 1 hr and 30minutes away. Those appointments forcefully cancelled the having to reschedule is a complete inconvenience, and with no one answering the phone, virtually impossible. I am still being billed for services that are not being provided. I made 3 payments, and only was seen once. I spoke with the director of the Aventura location to cancel the payments and was told no, my concerns were dismissed and I was blamed, then told to write an email. THE customer service is not horrible, spend your money with an establishment that is reliable. I would advise anyone NOT to use this company! read more

they sell you with unlimited treatments but they never have availability. they somehow are always "booked" and they close on Mondays. When you call, they said they are booked but that I should look online to book which doesn't make sense. Overall, don't recommend. read more

Body details company is a scam!!! They took my money and promised the tattoo will take approximately 10-12 treatments to remove. It's been 39 treatments for me so far, over 7 years. Same with the hair, I have to shave every time I shower. Beyond disappointed. Today I came to the appointment and they told me they can't treat me because the machine was broken. The manager was so not helpful, instead of accommodating me, I have to wait another month. I asked to contact the management and she said she will not be calling anyone. Such a terrible customer service and absolutely unprofessional. They told me on the phone to come in at 2 pm for consultation and payment for my tattoo removal service and I can get treatment at 2:20 pm. I came in on time and was waiting for 30 min for consultation and after I paid they told me I have to wait until 4:10 pm for my 10 min treatment because they have scheduled customers. I was disappointed with timing issues and wait time which they told me after payment was completed. I left and came back on time and was waiting for another 15 min and they told me that laser was broken and they cannot treat it!!! I came here to get a small tattoo removed. Didn't realize that it would be a process. It takes many sessions to remove a tattoo. Thank God that this place has an amazing staff. Update: I was one of your first customers and had a lifetime gaurentee for Brazilian, upper lip and underarms. I've gone for touch ups in Miami very few times because I live in NYC YET Body Details has wanted to revoke my lifetime guarantee that they had signed me up for in very sneaky ways. As a matter of fact, one of the girls that did my touch ups was actually really mean to me and put a super high setting on the laser and seemed to be enjoying the fact that I was in pain, I think as a way to turn me off from coming back. It worked! I had put a good review on Yelp! before, but I decided to rewrite it because it's not right to recommend a business that offers lifetime guarantee (because they were new and needed the money and clients), and then they try to retract it AFTER I paid in full the treatment. It's also not my fault I have to keep going in for touch ups - maybe their lasers don't work well enough and are too painful. I love body details, and I love the girls here. Used to have NATASHA! She is absolutely amazing. I did my bikini with her in the beginning and she was patient and she knew what she was doing. Unfortunately she's in the Pembroke Pines location now. So that location better feel happy they have her. Today I had JESSICA and I was a little worried at first. But she was amazing too! Treatment for just my lip and bikini line required a contract and cost approximately $5,000. They stopped my treatments because I wouldn't pay a $175 charge for missing an appointment, which yes, I agreed to when I signed the contract. Omg love this place. I have been here multiple times and after being gone for a little while and returning I had some account issues. Although I had to follow up once I got someone on the phone they handled the issue and schedule my appointment right away. The manager was super sweet. My experience was awesome. The technician Jonelle was great! She is super personal and VERY good at her job! She was funny and informative. The hair hasn't grown back in barely at all. Stephanie is by far the best laser specialist at this location. I had a few and once she became my specialist I stuck with her. She is the sweetest, most patient person and That is important when you get to the end of your treatments as the pain can be pretty intense. I am very sad after being a body details customer for years at Aventura location. I've been treated like trash by Virginia Dias. She doesn't have any work ethics. I called because I received a text that my appoiment was going to be canceled and worried. Virgina Dias answered, I asked her to tell me the cancellation policies because appointment is on Friday and today is Wednesday. She was very sarcastic when I ask why my appointment was canceled, when still have three days: you are going to receive a text today and tomorrow with a bad attitude. I told her I don't understand canceled, it's not even 40 hours. I got angry and she said don't yell at me and I hung up. I called several times and he did not answer the phone, she transferred me calls to sales department. I do not understand how a director can hang a customer who has paid more than 4000 dollars. Simple way to explain she blocked my calls. so, I decided to drive to ask for her name. When I arrive normal temper and ask, I can talk to the manager and she said it's me. I told her that I was the one who called, she said yes, why did you yell at me and everything is being recorded, she said I'm going to call the police and you need to live the property because you're aggressive. It seems that Virginia Dias does not know how to deal with a customer and does not know the meaning of aggression. I replied, I am moving my hands and knocking on the door, I am putting your life in danger and her answer is that we are women alone here and we work in a very bad area. They have already come with guns to us before. I have no words to explain how I feel humiliated, discriminated, because of my sexual orientation. Call the police to a customer who has not even been aggressive, just because of her, she does not know how to deal with customers. I was given a consultation with Jasmine Falcon who happened to break down the service and pricing. She also was amazing and made me feel at ease. Their lasers work and are fabulous; staff, not so much. Three stars because when I signed up they alluded to receiving different areas treated a time or two for free. After paying for my entire package in full and returning a couple of times thereafter, I inquired about doing an area to see how it goes. The tech (really nice) tells me she has to go ask. Apparently the person in the front told her she could zap me "once" only, and she literally zapped the tip of my underarm twice. Way to go, Body Details. Obviously they will say and allude to free areas when you are still a potential customer, once you are a customer, the service is very minimal and God forbid you ask for the one time free service they mentioned in the beginning. Not ethical, unprofessional and fraudulent office. Not sure if I was just unlucky with specific Aventura location or those low standards are norm throughout the company. I signed contract to receive laser removal services and was told I can't cancel, so i asked Jasmin if I will not happy with services what would happen. She lied how fantastic and on a top of each client she is as a location director. When time came to my second service, first I received text that it was canceled, then I spent 1.5 months calling and leaving voicemails with NO RESPONSE! I Opened claim with my bank and finally after 2.5 months was able to reach to corporate (also impossible to reach) who only can take message for director to call back. December 11 was the first time I heard back from September 30th. Wow, great turnaround time! She only answered that her legal can't cancel or refund due to no cancellation policy. So you, BodyDetails, failed to perform, failed to provide services, failed to answer the phone, muted me on a phone. That's calls FRAUD. When you making a person entering in a contract with no ability to cancel and with no opportunity to get services. Please stay away from that place and give your money to the company who will actually provide service in the contract, so you can see results. read more

Super expensive deal!!! Pay attention on their schedule. They open at 11:00!!! So it's almost impossible to make an appointment, unless you have an easy set schedule in your life. Also be careful with docs that you sign on the contract. If you miss the appointment, they charge on your credit card $10.00 EVERY ten minutes you missed until one hour is complete from your appointment!!! Even though you usually spend 15 to 30 minutes with the laser technician!!!!! Their words " we can't afford the technician to watch TV so YOU pay!! Ah! She was extremely informative and patient with someone who asks as many questions as I do. I came in just for the bikini procedure and left with the full Package.
