Unlike the previous trainer, my sessions with Cory are more "face to face" and personal rather than just seeming rushed to move on to another client. Another thing that stood out is the knowledge he gives on the exercise itself to help me understand what I should expect. Prior to browsing on Yelp for a trainer, I didn't know about Cory's page, and was maybe a little hesitant about that, but I gotta say I made the right choice by deciding to meet with him. If you're looking for a reasonably affordable trainer definitely consider a meetup to see if it fits you - would recommend!

They added more equipment like Hammer strength machines which I prefer and having military flags like my Marine Corps flag (oorah!), Navy, Army, Air Force and Coast Guard is great. Staff is light and doing stuff so if your new just wait by the desk for help. I haven't been able to try any of their other perks.

We always look for this type of gym when traveling, and seldom find one so good. We were in town for a few days and were able to get day passes. The gym has clean towels (hand towel size) for sweat and/or cleaning equipment. There are lockers and a shower. Good gym etiquette amongst those in the gym with us and the owners are very easy to talk to. This is not the "Globo gym" type of gym so if you like those plates with flat sides that are nearly impossible to properly deadlift with, or like your benches bolted to the floor, then there are other options, but if you are serious about working out, this is your gym.

This is unfortunately my first review and is probably the worst review that I would've given to-date because this is the worst Anytime fitness that I've ever visited. This gym looks like it hasn't been dusted in at least three weeks . The bathroom was filthy, I visited this gym at 8 o'clock in the morning and inside the bathroom, the garbage is full of toilet paper, the toilet was filthy, the shower was filthy, with rust stains dripping down the wall. Dust everywhere Filth on the floor, it was just disgusting. The actual lifting area of this gym is very small, anyone who is serious about their fitness, will find this gym unacceptable. If you just want to get a quick 15 minute workout, jump on the treadmill, stairmaster, elliptical, this gym would be OK. Outside of that, I would not recommend. I'm always greeted with a smile and a cheerful hello. Dr. Heaton is extremely gentle which was a big concern of mine. not only are the staff members here friendly and kind, but the services are thorough and effective…read more before doing any adjustments to my back, dr. heaton did preliminary x-rays to see exactly what the problem was. he didn't adjust me until the following day after he had read the x-rays and reviewed them with me. i am currently in my fifth of six weeks of treatment (two weeks with three visits per week, two weeks with two visits per week, two weeks with one visit per week and a reevaluation). my pain was incredibly diminished after only a few visits, but i felt nearly entirely better after 3 weeks of treatment. i work in the health care field and perform quite a bit of heavy lifting, and i would recommend him with anyone who has a chronic chiropractic condition that needs attention.

I am not sure the toilets have ever been properly cleaned. They encourage you wipe down the equipment, but only provide what seems like water to spray the equipment with. Water is not going to kill any bacteria. I wish the owner would hire a cleaning crew to come in at least once a month to deep clean. I'm sure the employees are not getting paid enough to deal with cleaning those nasty toilets. As a member i'm not sure what I paid for if no improvements are being done to the gym. It has been the same since I started going there six years, with a few changes to the carpet and paint color. The grove city power shack is in desperate need of a deep clean!

I learned today that this is a family owned business so as far as being able to contact corporate or someone higher up, it will not happen. The contract states if you cancel within 30 days of a NEW subscription you will be issued a refund. My good people the manager canceled my subscription the 21st of March and never issued a refund. She's dodged my calls and FINALLY sent me a email back not including the 30 days refund policy for new members and also advised since it's been 30 days my contract is no longer in the system.. I don't think that would hold up in court that documentation I signed feb 28th is not there. If you don't need to cancel you may be fine, but if ANYTHING happens you probably should just go through your bank.
