He said that the offices were clean and well kept and the registration process was quick and easy. All the staff were really friendly and the room that he was in was like really calming. Given the relatively low price (compared to massage or private acupuncture - I had to give it a try. The treatment itself (applying the pins) doesn't hurt at all. And what I absolutely love is the relaxing environment - plush, huge leather recliners; dim lighting; soft music; and a feeling of safety and wellness. I worked right by here and would come over lunch. It was heaven. Unfortunately, it didn't help and the office moved downtown. I don't really live by this or the other location so I stopped treatment. Skip forward - after an MRI gave me the real diagnosis (hamstring) - and too much yoga (if there is such a thing) has kicked my pain into high gear, I decided to start up treatment again - if nothing else as part of my self care. Well-being treatment. The technician I see at this location is the same. But now I also visit the other location - depending on what is available on the schedule. Both are great places with equally soothing treatment rooms and skilled staff. I'm actually headed there now for my weekly treatment. And goodness - while progress is not fast or great, it is helping. And I love the 30-40 minutes of heaven I get. I highly recommend you try it!!

I have been a regular ever since and can't say enough about the high level of care I receive at both the Westerville and Clintonville offices. The practitioners are experienced and kind. They've been able to make this needle-phobe quite comfortable with the process. Improvement did not happen overnight. It was slow and steady, with a hiccup every now and then. But being able to live the active lifestyle to which I am accustomed during my senior years means a great deal and the good folks at UAC have made that possible. When I came in, I was greeted, I felt welcomed, and in my conversation about my back with the massage therapist out front, the chiropractor came out and talked to me as well. My wife had bought me a gift of Groupon for a massage here recently and it was very easy (online) to schedule an appointment. Due to previous experience with Groupon, I expected to wait months for an appointment. I had an email from the massage therapist and felt welcomed even before I walked through the door. I have hardly any experience getting a massage so I was not sure what to expect. I appreciated the fact that Sarah (my massage therapist) asked me questions to find out where my pain was and tailored my massage experience to my answers. It was just the right amount of pressure because she asked me near the beginning if that's what worked for me. I was there for a 50 minute massage and although I did not fall asleep, it was very relaxing. I felt like taking a nap when she told me our time was done and I could take my time getting up. I could see going back and I don't think it'll be another 7 years before I have another massage. So relaxing, and with this experience, so worth the price.

However, for the past 15 years, Dr. Wieging and his associates have kept my pain manageable so that I could function as a full-time physician and even get in an occasional round of golf! Competence and compassion exude from this practice. The receptionists are always 'warm' and engaging, the 'wait times' are minimal and their treatments always mitigate my pain!
