I cancelled my membership in person and returned my key fob directly to an employee/manager. I was clearly told my membership would be cancelled. Despite doing everything correctly, the gym continued to charge my account anyway. Over the following year, I had multiple conversations with staff and managers explaining that I had already cancelled. Nothing was fixed. On April 20, 2026, a manager told me he would resolve everything, remove the charges, and call me back the next day. That never happened. No call. No refund. No resolution. What makes this worse is that they can easily verify the truth: I have not used the gym after cancelling Their own access logs and cameras would confirm I cancelled and returned my key fob Despite this, they continued billing me. This is not just poor customer service -- it is a failure to properly process cancellations and correct billing errors even after repeated notice. If you join this gym, get everything in writing. Do not rely on staff telling you your membership is cancelled.

Online, I saw an offer: one-month membership for $42.99, taxes and fees included, "NO COMMITMENT." I walked in and politely asked for this. I was approached by Ben Stiller with a faux hawk. He informed me, with confidence and the energy of a used car salesman, that i would instead need a 90-day membership. I explained that I am only in town for one month. He asked where I live. I said California--and that I already have a gym and a sauna there. He immediately pivoted to asking if I have classes. (Like clearly I told you twice I don't want to join.) For a brief moment I thought, oh man, he got me. Then I remembered, and I said to him defiantly, "Actually... I have a personal trainer." He said, "you can get a year and pay month to month or 90 days." So I said, "No problem, I'll just pay online since it says right here I can but one month no commitment." I walked out to my car, credit card in hand, but as I was about to input the numbers, I googled the cancellation policy. Turns out cancellation requires 30 days' notice. RED FLAG I walked back inside and asked, "So if I pay today, do I cancel today?" Ben Stiller faux hawk said no--because I must get a 90-day membership. I said, "That's not what it says online." He said, "I'm telling you now in here--you need the 90-day deal." It was like he was subliminally saying, "Here at Globo Gym, we're better than you... and we know it." I tried again: "But it says online no commitment." He said, "but you're here and I'm saying 90 days." I said, "that's a commitment, Nowhere on this form does it say 90 days ." He said, "But you're here." I left and immediately called LA Fitness, because "nobody makes me bleed my own blood." I asked them "Do you have a one-month membership?" "Yes--$75." "Does it include the sauna?" "Yes." "Classes?" "Yes." "Do I have to cancel?" "No, it just falls off." I nearly wept to the LA Fitness guy. I will say that this is a smaller 24 hour gym, so it obviously won't compete with LifeTime, Crunch, or Vasa; however, it was definitely adequate. You can easily make do and rip a solid lift for any and all muscle groups. One major piece of advice: try to go at a time when no one is there. If there are more than a few people there, you'll probably have to wait on equipment - luckily I didn't have to wait, but I could foresee that being an issue. They have pretty much all of the machines you get at the bigger locations, although their Smith machine selection is very limited. While that's not really a big issue, it does make them hard to get sometimes. The machines & equipment are kept in solid shape; I'd see them getting tended to regularly. If you need to get your cardio on then this location is the one for you. There's loads of treadmills, stair steppers & plenty other machines to get what you need done cardio-wise. Even during peak hours there never seems to be a shortage of machines to choose from. What I like most about PF is there's plenty of cleaning stations throughout. Not only that, but they're always stocked up. The restrooms being kept clean is also a solid touch. Any time I'm ever on the southwest coast in the area I make sure to visit this location. I have been a member since 2019 and slacked a little during COVID and when I got back they implemented a new 3D system for your body that tell you body fat and focus areas.. it's pretty interesting they also have a nutritionist on staff that gives you a food plan. The prices are a little high but they help keep the younger people out of the gym which makes it more comfortable for me to work out. I also took one of the best yoga classes in the yoga studio.
