I had a follow up visit with my doctor today (June 1, so 4 months later) and he was surprised by how much mobility I have regained (actually said 'Wow! 100% better!') and how much my pain is reduced. He told me I didn't need to come back to him because I was on 'auto-pilot now' and to just keep doing the massage therapy and stretches and I should be fine. He had initially recommended physical therapy which I tried for 6 weeks but that didn't seem to be helping my mobility or pain and in some respects appeared to be making things worse. That's when I started looking for an alternative, and although massage therapy is not traditionally covered by health insurance, it actually cost me less than my co-pays for physical therapy and has been worth every penny. I handed my doctor a stack of Cecile's business cards today and he took them and thanked me. I would not hesitate to recommend Cecile and Morningstar Therapeutics to anyone dealing with muscle stiffness or pain, and especially anyone with frozen shoulder. She's the expert!

It was really easy to communicate and ask for adjustments for my comfort. Honestly I feel like this service was inexpensive for the amount of time and quality of care. The facility is clean and quiet. In the treatment room, there is ambient music playing at all times. For the appointment, I wore loose-fitting clothing.
