At the time, I couldn't turn my head from side to side. After the massage, I had full mobility. My shoulders were finally freed. As another reviewer has mentioned, she has a broad set of knowledge and nationally recognized board certifications in nutrition and personal training. When I asked her about the sort of exercises I should do to improve my posture, she put together a neck, upper back, hip, and glute routine for me. I wanted to meet with a nutritionist as opposed to a MD because I believe the body is meant to heal itself. Many diseases can be treated with the right diet, however western medicine likes to treat things with a little pill, which will only mask and not really heal anything. Anyways - for 2 weeks before our first meeting she had me track everything I ate and all the digestive issues I experienced in a food log. When I came in to see her, we spoke about my issues and then she went over the my food log with me. She had SO much information and was able to make it seem so simple and logical and easy to understand. We talked about how I ate, sitting down to meals, chewing food, things I ate, drinking water with meals, chewing gum and on and on. Beside addressing my digestive issues she also gave me advice and tidbits about how to eat healthier in general. Portions, types of foods, etc. I left with at least 5 items to change in my eating habits and many other suggestions for eating healthier. What I loved best about Dawn's approach was she really didn't ask for me to do a huge diet overhaul and entirely change everything. She looked at what I was already doing and gave suggestions on how to tweak it to make it healthier and easier on my digestive system. She's also a great person to work with, full of energy and enthusiasm, and chock full of knowledge. I would even recommend seeing her if you don't have a specific issue, but just want to be healthier in general. She totally changed my life (seriously) and was worth every penny.

I have lost 65 pounds since July 2024, and I am getting really close to my goal weight. The work started with a glucose monitor so I could get a sense of the types of foods I was eating and how they impacted my blood sugar. At the same time, they did thorough blood testing. Meredith took the time to go through every result, and I learned a lot about what was happening in my body and the supplements I needed to make improvements. Let me be clear, yes, they recommend supplements, but they don't overload you. The recommendations are reasonable and focused on your specific blood test results. When I started working with Meredith, I was also borderline type 2 diabetes, so she started me on a GLP-1 medication. I had been curious about these medicines but was also nervous about starting one because of potential side effects; however, when I say this medicine is life-changing, I really mean it. I can't remember a time in my life before starting on a GLP-1 when I was not thinking about or craving food. I would think about what I just ate, what I wanted to eat next, when the next time was to eat, and much more. It was exhausting. On the GLP-1 medicine, the food thoughts are gone. It is amazing. I also feel full quicker and don't have cravings like I used to. That being said, I can still enjoy all the foods I have loved; I just find I don't need the amount of food I used to have. I never thought I could feel satisfied with only a few bites of dessert, but it has happened. I would not be where I am today without Meredith's support. I see her once a month in person for my In Body weigh-in and an overall check-in. I can also text her when I have questions or need something between appointments. If needed, I could also make a telehealth appointment or quickly get an in-person appointment with her, but I haven't needed that. I add this because part of the service with Innovative Vitality is more personalized care. Every visit, she takes the time to walk me through my In Body results to be sure I understand the changes happening with my body. More than that, I feel like Meredith celebrates positive results with me. She really cares about my progression and how I am feeling. I usually come to every appointment with a list of questions and/or health concerns unrelated to my weight loss. Meredith makes the time to discuss everything on my list and provide me with treatments and recommendations. If, like me, you have tried a million diets that haven't worked and are beginning to feel hopeless, or if you just want to feel more in the driver's seat to lose weight, then I really encourage you to consider starting at Innovative Vitality. Now to the actual massage, first and foremost, lipomassage is not meant to make you lose weight! It's meant to reduce Inflammation of all sorts and boost your healing from inside out. Many people suffer from pain, swelling, lumps etc. This machine works to reduce all sorts of Inflammation. From my experience, I noticed after my massage I feel swollen but within 24 to 48hrs, the swelling reduced and I saw better results as I got more massages. You can't just come once and expect a miracle... remember Rome isn't built in one day! So if you expect to see results, you have to get enough treatment package. I purchased a package of 10 sessions which ran for 35mins. I started seeing big results on my lumps and swelling with diet and exercise at session 5.
