I called during open hours just before closing three days before the appointment and left a voice message because the prompt said the office was closed. I called again around 12p two days before the appointment and got the same prompt. Google and Yelp list the hours of operation are 9a-4p on Saturdays. First, their social media and telephone prompt urge people to go to the website to book. However, I did do that to schedule my appointment for Jan 19 and then was called to say that it was already blocked by someone else and that the regular practice is the website double books. When I asked the woman then how do I guarantee my appointment she said always call to book. Given that I have been calling to try to cancel and no one answers, I can only imagine calling to book would be just as frustrating. I have called the 701-219-7933 number that goes straight to voicemail. I have called the 312-257-3049 number almost half a dozen times and it goes to voicemail saying it's closed when the call is during the hours of operation. Maybe they cancelled my appointment based on my voicemail but I definitely never received a confirmation of cancellation. I have to say this is my first experience with Chapter Aesthetic and it has proven to be one that will deter me from rescheduling. I have used Face Foundrie and will continue going there due to ease of booking, cancelling, and overall service.

The Botox facial was impressive, It's made to just penetrate the top layer of skin and not the actual muscle and it does wonders for your skin texture especially your pores. Unfortunately the upper face treatment required me to walk around with one eyebrow raised significantly higher than the other due to the two-week waiting period for the treatment to set in. I tried emailing the head nurses but I did not hear back and so I just went back to the studio and despite my efforts to have them correct it earlier, they are VERY STRICT about the two week waiting period. So be warned. I was also disappointed to learn that the massater muscle treatment is not unlimited. I grind my teeth and the main reason I started getting Botox and require a substantial amount of units on each side, but the highest they offer is 30 units per side. I have been getting Botox treatment for years and no one ever knew because I do it very subtle but the eyebrow gave me up. So much for 10 years of discretion. During my second visit, I only came in for the Botox facial, I was unexpectedly placed with another nurse practitioner. I made an explicit effort to wait and come in specifically to work with Christina to avoid a repeat of my previous experience. The new nurse practitioner was unsure of what formula Christina used the last time, so we had to wait for Christina to finish with her other client to find out. Then I was informed me that the facial had undergone a significant change; it used to be four passes across the face using micro-needles reduced to two passes. She also mentioned that the formula had been enhanced, resulting in improved outcomes, so I went ahead and did it. Upon leaving the studio, I did not notice any noticeable pinkness, which should have been my first sign. That was July 30 and weeks later, I am still awaiting any results. While the treatment is convenient and relatively affordable, the lack of results and the lack of transparency before you come in for service is very disappointing . I have given the studio a one-star rating due to the pleasant atmosphere of the staff. However, both visits fell short of my expectations, which is unfortunate considering the studio's convenience. This all serves as a reminder that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
