It seems like the only customers they have are from GroupOn and LivingSocial coupons which makes total sense because they are just looking for one time only customers because I cannot see them having any repeat customers after the experience I had. Lily is completely unprofessional and argumentative. She kept insisting that the LivingSocial coupon was for only a swedish massage and the coupon does not specify, it just says one hour massage, it does not specify the kind of massage. Just like other Yelpers, she tried to upsell for an additional $10 for a deep tissue massage and kept insisting that I get it. Then I asked her to show me where it says in writing that it specifies for only a swedish and she couldn't answer so she called the manager and with her broken English started yelling at me. You don't treat customers like that! I will never return and I will make sure that everyone stays away from this place!!!!!

Upon check-in, the Grinch-green hair dyed receptionist (wearing a Karina's Beauty Spa badge) was on her cell phone. When I walked up to check in, she couldn't be bothered to put her phone down. She dryly asked if I was there for Comfort Spas. When I replied in the affirmative, she said someone would be with me shortly. The receptionist immediately went back to her phone. However, when a guest arrived for Karina's Beauty Spa, the receptionist immediately put her phone down and perked right up. Clearly, she has no interest in guests of Comfort Spas. Per the website, I arrived 15 minutes early. I sat in the waiting area the entire 15 minutes before the Comfort Spas masseuse greeted me, on her way in from a quick run to CVS. Just before getting started, the masseuse (named Jasmine) asked if I had any pain or other problem areas. While this question may seem like a good one to ask objectively, it let me know that Jasmine had clearly failed to review the required form that I spent 20 minutes completing via her online portal. Seriously , if you have a form as a requirement, then it should be the foundation for discussion with a new client... I purchased a 90-minute hot stone/deep tissue massage. Jasmine was a pleasant person, with generally good technique but she lacked the finesse and strength of more seasoned people who do massages. The room was relatively small and cold. Plus, unlike all past experiences I've had, Jasmine did not use heated oils/lotions. Instead, she used VERY COLD lotion which was anything but relaxing. Quite jarring with each touch. Additionally, she used disposable gloves, so the lotion never had a chance to be warmed in her hands. When Jasmine asked about the pressure, I let her know that I'd like it stronger. Yet, she was not able to sustain anything more than a very light massage. The hot stone portion (used exclusively at the neck and back area) was just ok. Stone use was really just an "honorable mention" since they were used less than 5 minutes out of the 90 minute massage. In my past experiences, the stones have been aligned along the spine and allowed to heat any trouble area(s). The Waiting area décor was aesthetically pleasing, and scented with a candle. The music and colors are calming and help to usher in relaxation. However, the loud ticking clock is not conducive to relaxation. Overall, if you're a person accustomed to stronger massages, you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you like a very light touch then this may be for you.

Maria walked me through what we would do. Hands down the best massage/information I've ever received. I came in with tight shoulder blades and glutes. She not only helped loosen my entire body but also gave me exercises to stay loose. Maria is not the typical massage therapist you go to for relaxation, you go to get fixed. I would honestly say she's life changing and the best therapist I've ever met. I'm very lucky to have found her website. I'll be seeing her soon, again!

I went to a different therapist/location than Maria initially, and did feel slightly better after my treatments. After reading all the benefits of manual lymph drainage, I've continued to receive lymph drainage treatments, as my body naturally seems to want to hold onto a lot of liquid/swelling in my legs. Recently, my original therapist was booked, so I found Maria on Yelp and decided to give her a try. I have never received the amazing results I got with Maria with my other therapist. I actually have shape to my ankles! Even my husband noticed the difference when I got home, without a side by side before and after comparison. My ankles especially swell during travel, and they didn't at all during my trip after my session with Maria. She deserves so many more glowing reviews, I can't recommend her enough and she will be my new go-to-therapist for manual lymph drainage.

11/18/23 Upon…read moregetting a massage at K&H Massage, I had to make the payment inside QI Massage Therapy.  So to me, I got my massage with this company as well, but not physically in the QI Massage area...or did I? When walking into the business office, I heard a number of people talking from a closed room, but I didn't get a chance to look around.  I do wonder if this place offers Ashiatsu Massage too? The area had light painted walls, but still not enough natural light was shining through the windows.    To me, the ambience felt a little cold.   This could change when I actually get a massage in private room at QI Massage. I know I will be back here to try this place out in its actual location next time.   I also hope to get the prices of this location, because I forget to get a photo of them.   Online, the prices seem too step.    Their orginal location was in Reston. I believe I have visited this place too, but this was years ago. I want an updated photo for viewers to see of the prices. I will have  more deeper review on QI Massage the next time I am here.

She didn't hesitate to get up on the table in order to fully work the areas she correctly figured needed the most attention. She was also pleasant to speak to when she was able to during the session. Penny is A M A Z I N G!…read more I have her come out to my house weekly as part of my own little wellness program, which is to say, I'm old and I needed to find an excuse to get a massage every week. I'm trying to take care of my body now that is out of warranty and breaking down. She is one part masseuse and one part detective. It's uncanny how even if I don't tell her which part of my back is sore, she can find that one small muscle that is making all of the other muscles tense up around it. I've had massages at the mall where the therapists basically take you through their "one size fits all" routine no matter what area you want them to focus on - they use blunt force and do everything quick and aggressive. Penny is purposed and methodical in her assessment (her fingers are her instruments doing the assessment). She probes gently as she walks her fingers up and down your back to find that "angry" muscle and give it some healing. If it doesn't want to comply, she delivers power, primarily through her elbows, but doesn't pull the elbow out just for the sake of doing it - it's always with a purpose and that purpose to help your back find peace. There have been times when I've walked in with such tight pain in my neck or shoulder and I can't get a full range of motion in my neck or my arm. But after she's worked on my tight neck for example, it's liked someone greased the gears inside of my neck because my neck can swivel 90 degrees in either direction without any effort, whereas before it was full of tension. Speaking of grease, she does not use an abundance of lotion so you don't feel like a greased up pig at the end. Her prices are very reasonable, especially since she comes out to you!
