I was uncomfortable and unable to communicate my needs as she didn't understand much besides the few times I was in so much pain I had to pull away. I see good reviews, so maybe it's just the one massage therapist. I didn't want her to touch my back or shoulders but I was so sore from work that I allowed her.. Jessica was far too aggressive on my shoulders and I'm upset that I allowed the massage to go past 25 min.. I thought it would get better but I was sadly disappointed. I went to massage therapy school for a while and have been getting them for some time. I've never been this sore after a massage. I don't usually have the extra money to do massage anymore. The small room where a massage therapist would sit to eat her meal; as well, as see who stopped by, had now been changed. No longer is that small room a room. It has become an entry point for staff and guest to walk through. I saw massage beds in the back corner of a room. This room could now be for staff, clients or both. The place had all the lights off and gave off the appearance of an abandoned building. Walking into the main entrance, I was greeted by no one. Looking around I saw the usual rooms I have gotten a massage in. The doors were open but I could not see very well because it was dark. I was starting to decided this is a bad idea when I was greeted by the massage therapist. The massage therapist looked like she hadn't gotten a lot of sleep. She aslo looked a bit disheveled. Since I don't know the massage therapist's name, I will just call her Kuchisake Yojimbo. Ms. Kuchisake Yojimbo, asked me if I have been here before, and I told her yes, but that was several years ago. Ms. Kuchisake showed me to a room I have been to before, but this time, I had a better view inside the room. Ms. Kuchisake then left the room thinking I would strip down and lay on the bed. Normally this would be the case, but I had the unpleasant feeling the sheets on the bed were reused and unsanitary. This thought did not still well with me. Turning on the lights confirmed my suspensions. From that point on, it was nothing doing. I thought I took pictures of the room, but I can't find the photos right now. Ms. Kuchisake returned to the room surprised to find me still clothed and not butt naked as she had planned. The vibes of this massage establishment weren't good and neither was my desire for a massage. Ms. Kuchisake must have sensed her chances of making a sell slip away. She offered a number of services that would get the attention of both of Lieutenant Thaddeus Harris and Cadet Carey Mahoney. I still wasn't feeling what she putting down. The idea of laying on those sheets just didn't sit well with me. Ms. Kuchisake Yojimbo was unhappy, but I did say I would come back here. I just failed to say when. I do hope the next time I am here, things will be in a better state of presentation and sanitary conditions.

The staff were friendly, though the overall environment wasn't especially impressive. That said, I really enjoyed my massage. I even fell asleep a couple of times, which almost never happens for me in unfamiliar places. Most importantly, I left feeling much better. Part 2 Of 2 6/21/26…read moreTHE MASSAGE EXPERIENCE: April started not with the oil, but rather a massage with forearms over my neck and back. She kept this up with steady pressure. The pressure was good, that I might have fallen asleep. However, there was a light tap on the door before April's sister Wontu showed up. Won't enteted the room and the two hands massage became a four hands massage instead. April and Wontu did not preform an synchronize massage working from my neck down. Instead, April continued working on my back, lower back and top of my gluteus maximus. Wontu started working on my feet and slowly worked her way up to my gluteus maximus. The pressure was just right from both ladies. It has been a while since I had four hands massage, but the offer was there, and I took it. Not bad for my first time here and it's double the flavor and double the fun... a reffence to an old commercial if you know what I am talking about. Wontu's massage continued up my legs as April finished with my arms. The leg stretches and the arm stretches were most enjoyable, seeing as my body was twisted in different directions with decent pressure and force. Having two women working on my gluteus maximus and thighs is..., was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had. Having my gluteus maximus massaged, stretch and squeeze like Play-Doh at the same time for each cheek is a rare experience. I will have to do it again. The team of Wontu and April then switched positions and massage continued. The witched between soft touch to medium massage made the massage different and enjoyable. The touch was a good touch. My Erectile Dysfunction would have prevented me for doing anything even if it were a bad touch. Yeah, it sucks, but life goes on. I am digressing here... I would like to say both April and Wontu used the minimum amount of oil to get the job done. If you wish to have more oil on you, simple speak up and let them know. If you do Four Hands Massage, each lady equals 30 minutes each. I decided I would do 90 minutes for Four Hands Massage, but it eventually turned into 2 hours. April ended up doing the last 30 minutes by herself. Wontu talked me into adding 30 minutes more. All of this happen, but not before turn over with the cloth still covering me. I choose to keep the oil that was used on my skin because it wasn't a lot. I also don't tend to use hot towels if they aren't inside the massage room already. I go with paper towels in the room. It keeps the massage therapist in the room and I do not experience possible moldy smelling wash cloths. It all works out. Once on my back, Wontu started massaging my neck and shoulders while April massaged my feet. The relaxation could have put me to sleep, yet again, but I have discovered something when you do fall asleep during massage. You miss all the heavenly glory of the massage. I feel like I cheated myself out of experiencing the massage even though it feels great. So I did not fall asleep during the great massage. April continued working my legs to inner thighs as the pressure got stronger to accommodate for the larger muscles. Wontu worked on my chest and stomach with just the right amount of pressure. To much pressure and you might end up needing to use the bathroom in a serious way, or end up soiling yourself on the massage table. Luckily, I have not experienced the soiling myself on a massage table...., but I am digressing yet again. Wontu and April switched positions yet again. The massage continued until it's climactic conclusion. The four hands massage had me wanting more, but alas, I just couldn't do that. Wontu and April's Four Hands Massage is one you will want to try out at least once. If you do want to experience this massage, you are better off calling and setting up this kind of appointment instead of a walkin like I did. I have been to this establishment one other time after this experience and both April and Wontu did a one hour session with me. I can write an account on this experience if you would like. As of now, 5 Stars for this outstanding experience.

Visited this location on 2/17/24. Written on 7/29/24…read more Today I had an appointment with Mioh. I discovered it means Beatuiful, Keep, Hold. This place is located where Oriental Massage (bad name for a spa) and Yi Z Spa use to reside.  Now Katy Aromatherapy Spa stands in it's spot. Mioh greeted me in very...(I forgot what she was wearing. To much time has elapsed) Nevermind.   I was lead to a room near the front door and this place definitely had a make over since the last time I was here. The red-light effect has been abolished. The door to room I have been inside before now has a double door, but only the inside door really works.  I got the impression this is Mioh's living quarters when she is not with a client.  I hope I am wrong on this thought. Nevertheless, while preparing for my massage I noticed some things that stood out to me.  1. One of the former names of this business still is posted on the wall next to the current one. 2. The cost of getting a massage is broken down by 30mins ($50), 45mins ($60), 60mins ($70), 90mins ($110)and 120mins ($130).  All of this told me this isn't including tip money. 3. Upon seeing the options on the wall, I saw the massage station with a pack of Crown Condoms front and center. Cost of doing business has just gone up...should you ladies and gentleman wish it so. I also like the purple covers used for the massage table. 4. The time clock is very visible considering it is next to the pack of Trojans...excuse me, Crown Condoms. This is for you and the masseuse to keep an eye on incase there is a disagreement on your massage session time.  5. There is a make shift bed/couch  in the corner where I suspect Mioh spends her nights sleeping on.  6. The clothing on the back of the door has the makings for this place to live and work.  If the clues weren't enough, I went through with the massage I paid for to get more information on this place. THE MASSAGE EXPERIENCE: Alexander Pope once said "Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed." This is all fine and dandy, but the massage wasn't the best I ever had.  Mioh, didn't bother with the draping of my body, so if you are into draping or Body shy, tell her you would like a sheet/towel. "Heartbreak is one thing, My egos another, I beg you don't embarass me, Mother fucker ahhh." Okay,  I had to put that last quote in from Sabrina Carpenter's Please Please Please. Back to the matter at hand. Mioh's Massage started out strong but gradually dropped down to a soft body rub. Mioh, was very talkative and very polite.  I enjoyed the conversations we had, but I have since 2/17/24 forgotten what we talked about...except for the icing on the cake...to be explained later...Who says talking is overrated?  Mioh does know how to do Thai Stretching. I found this relaxing mixed in with the leg and glutes massage. I did not have a sore shoulder and arm like I am having now, but I applaud her effort for trying to get rid of the thighs pains. The foot massage was epic.  I reccomend getting one if you come here. Finally, for the Coup De Gracie or Icing On The Cake, the cost for extra service...should you wish it,...keep in mind it has been a while so the prices may have changed. Overall I give this experience here at Kathy Aromatherapy Spa a three stars. The bonus/tips (if you aquire them) can get costly. If not, then $70 for an hour is worth the price of admission.
